Any idea what it might be ? I would imagine it has to be close to a toss up right now being there at JHS.

Bama will be favored more than you think. The betting public has always liked and bet Bama.

We were favored two years ago down there and got beat soundly. I hope that it isn't a repeat of that.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a qb improve in 2 years as much as Jalen has but I think Mac is probably a better, or at least a more confident passing qb than Jalen was 2 years ago, pre Enos and Riley.

That aside, I don't think Nix is as good as Stidham was.

Agree. I love Jalen but I have never been more disgusted watching offense than I was two years ago at Auburn. Ridley abused his man all game and Hurts didn't even have the confidence to try and get it to him. All in the past though and Mac will certainly be harrassed maybe more than Jalen was by that Auburn front but I think Mac will get the ball out most of the time hopefully accurately when he does. Najee will be a huge part of the passing game again. We are gonna make a statement to the playoff committee and beat their arse.

on the flip side, Hurts was probably the most mobile qb we've had in my lifetime, though I remember a healthy Tua in his freshman year was no slouch. Blake Sims comes to mind too. Anyhow, Mac isn't in the conversation for that skill set.

People forget that 2017 Iron Bowl Stidham was a freaking stud. Almost a Joe Burrow-like performance.

Jalen was throwing arm punts in that game two years ago. It was easily the worst QB performance that I've seen in a long time.

Mac is a pocket passer like Fromm. It is what it is.

One thing I like about Mac is he seems willing to take some downfield shots. We will need to hit a couple of those to beat AU in my opinion because moving the ball on long drives is going to be tough.

Would also be big to get a play in the return game from Waddle.

Bama was crippled by injuries on defense in 17 and Hurts couldn't complete a forward pass.

Auburn just loaded the box and dared Hurts to pass.

Bama is again crippled by injuries on defense, but I think Bama is in a much better place in the passing game.

Mac Jones might be too confident in himself, but the man's swagger rubs off on his teammates. He shows no fear and runs the offense very well.

The thing with Mac is that no one truly knows. First time in this big of a situation against a defense this good. At least he’s had some reps and experience this year against lesser competition.

Mac needs to be very careful early. Auburn’s defense will be able to do things at a speed he hasn’t encountered. He will need to be protected with the play calling until he adjusts. No high risk throws and nothing slow developing early on. Let him get his feet under him for a quarter.

Au has a db out for the first half. I'd attack that early.

Announcers yesterday made very good point. We seem to be working to put Mac in a moving pocket to help keep pressure off of him. With time, he’s pretty good. I think we also look to mash in the run game.

I'm 100% more confident with the 2019 offense going in there than I was with the 2017 offense. Not even close, honestly.

I just hope that it doesn't come down to a field goal contest. Bulovus scares me to death.
