And now most of his calls blow up in his face.

Try the FG, it's blocked or shanked.
Go for it and your shitty OL gets pushed back and you fail.

I still remember the fake punt attempt in the SECCG. Perfectly setup and dumb arse Vinnie waited to long to call for the snap.

Lots of these plays are just going the wrong way for us now.

I agree on Saban only being a decent game day coach. I think the sneak was a good call though. Arkansas was like the 75th overall defense in yards allowed before playing us. You have to expect to be able to convert that.

This is probably true. I just lost a TON of faith in recruiting websites.

Statistically, QB sneaks are more efficient. I don't think he planned on Sims doing that hop shite either.

The call was fine, especially with the penetration they had all night.

Really? Because it's not like Yeldon hasnt been a solid back the past two years. Would love to see you make the same comment after Oklahoma but I bet you were too busy worshipping Henry at the time. If you think Coffee, Lacy or Ingram would do much better against this run defense and line play then I'm fricking surprised.

The attitude of this board right now, smh.

The problem is our O line. They are BAD BAD. The holes aren't there.

I wonder how the 2011/2012 line would have fared if there were no downfield threat, nothing to make an opponent pay for selling out to stop the run and keeping eight men in the box. They can just overwhelm our guys, who aren't very good, and the result is disastrous because Sims can only make them pay once or twice a game. I'd take those odds if I were a defensive coordinator.

Amazing. I thought this was the strength of the team after the fourth quarters of the WVU and UF games.

2011 didn't have a down field threat though. Most of our passing success really came from Smelley and T-Rich.

2011 we had something. Not much, but something.

We couldn't even trust our qb to throw a complete pass on third and six tonight.

I still think that the o-line and the qb need to start helping each other. We need to get some maulers in there, yes, but we also need to call more draws and regular screens to make the defense pay for being aggressive. We need Sims to show he can complete passes against a competitive zone defense like AJ did with Norwood.

The real team went to Cabo during the bye, and aliens replaced them. I have no other explaination.

Well, here you go...when was the last time you ever heard a commentator mention Yeldon's yards after contact? Let me help you out with that. How about never?

And by the way, kid, I'm way past the point in life where I worship a football player. It happens when you finally grow up to the point where you're actually a couple of years older than the players. You gain a little perspective.

I don't have a problem with that, remember our short yardage in the iron bowl last year she Kelly was also out, lots of rb plays getting blown up. Don't go back a couple yards when there is minimal if any push to begin with.

What is the injury status of Kelly anyway?

Some of you so called "fans" are unbelievable.. We're 5-1 have run into a tough stretch and now Saban is not a great coach and our team all of the sudden sucks a$$.. He and the team were sooo great and awesome when we were being pulled out of the dumpster fire that was the Sula years and now everything is just soooo bad...

Someone on the line needs to step up and challenge their teammates. The O-line is SOFT compared to previous units imo. Lack attitude, swagger and the mindset of "I'm going to end your mother #!#$*&% life by planting your arse in the turf".

Why does discussing the obvious issues Bama has this year equate to being a fair weather fan? I don't see anyone saying that they are no longer going to support the team..
