There was something going on, just judging by his body language Saturday night. I'll believe it when the University releases something, but I wish him the best if this is his decision, even if I don't understand it at all.

No bad feelings here KB7......Some things are more important than football, "even though it may hurt now" and hard to understand but in the long run if you follow your heart you can't go wrong.

Thanks for the good times at Bama.....

WR Kenny Bell has notified Alabama staff he's quitting the team over what is believed to be a lack of playing time, according to a source

An Alabama source told CBSSports.com's Jeremy Fowler that Bell has notified the team of his intentions to quit. It is possible, however, that Bell might return to the Crimson Tide. Per the source, Bell's decision to quit might be tied to playing time.

Processed, I hate to see a senior leave but honestly this makes room for better talent to get on the field. Bell was a strait line player, run strait down the field, and with guys like White, Black and Foster getting more playing time bama won't miss a beat. The loss of White last year turned out to be a blessing in disguised, I see the same thing happening in this situation.

I guess if he already has his degree there's nothing stopping him from just walking away, but none of the WRs did jack shite Saturday night, so the timing is kind of odd. If he had fallen down the depth chart after spring and quit it would make sense. After one game of his final season doesn't make much sense though.

I don't believe PT is an issue, he would have played a lot this year, even if he didn't start. Norwood isn't technically a starter, but he still plays a lot.

Does anyone have inside info on whether the "door" will still be open for him to return?

If PT is the issue, he's being immature. It's his last year and he's already started the season, why not just tough it out and at least try to get signed as a free agent in Feb. Even if his kids are the issue, why wait until the start of the season? Just seems petty but whatever. Bye.

not sure it is about PT. He knew his lot in life before game one and it is not like we completed a lot of passes. I think AJ needs to quit focusing on coop who had a lot of double teams
