Bama Online

I hold no ill will but I am not sad to see him leave. If deflecting the ball off the goal posts counted as one point he'd have been the all-time SEC season leader in points scored.

If Vandy will give him a scholarship, he'd be a fool not to go there. That's a degree that'll serve him well in the future. Take full advantage while you can.

I can see it now, Tuscaloosa 2022... Vandy under the new coaching staff has miracle season, with about a minute to go they drive the field and Bulovas lines up to kick the winning FG from about the 17 - 20... and .... deja vu all over again ...donks it Bama wins... Bama wins... Bama wins

What if they lined up for a career long 59 yards and he nailed it, straight down the middle. Keeps us out of the playoffs for losing to Vandy.

Depends on the situation.

Foster's problem was kicking under pressure. A few years ago I did a comparison of his kicks in games decided by 7 or less and those that were more than 1 score games. In the blowouts, he was something like an 80% kicker. In the tight ones, he was IIRC 1 for 9.

Bulovas was kinda the opposite. Believe it or not, he was a career 76% FG kicker for Bama (22-29) but he missed a whopping SEVEN PATs.

I really think both of them had mental more than physical issues. Cade simply couldn't handle pressure and Bul seemed to not focus on the 'easy' ones.

Wish him luck but man it felt so good this year to not have to be nervous over an XP. It seemed like every XP he kicked flirted with that Right Goal Post

Cade choked his guts down at the barn in 2013.

When you realize you aren't going to go pro, might as well get the best quality education and degree you can for free.
