Can anyone explain why he's currently a football analyst at Illinois, instead of the defensive coordinator at Alabama ?
What's the scoop on this guy ? Even the packers tried to hire him as their DC, and he turned them down.
He seems to be the last tier 1 guy available at DC.

My guess is that he wants to stay up north in the Big 10

My guess is no one is going after him or there is something else going on. Alabama isn’t the first to have a DC opening and he not even being mentioned
