I feel like Battle will stray from Archie Miller fearing it will be another Marshall situation. I bet he goes after Pitino and if that fails he gets Prohm. If it comes down to that though, I would rather he just go ahead and give it to Prohm.

If we land Pitino we're in the running for a 5 star immediately. He attends a florida high school that has a huge feed into Alabama.

No, I would go after Archie Miller quietly. If he turns down the offer, THEN start actually taking resumes and interviewing multiple coaches in house. If Prohm is interested in the job he can interview and bring a plan for how he is going to develop the program and market the team just like all the others that will interview.

Can we name someone as the interim coach, and let them know they are gone as soon as a good coach comes. I know it's wasting a year, but if we sign prohm it will waste a lot more than 1 year

Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Is Prohm anyone's first choice? No. But y'all all need to take a step back from the ledge. He could be a homerun for all we know. No, he doesn't have the name recognition we desire but that won't matter as long as he wins games. That's all that needs to matter to us and it's crazy that our fanbase is in a damn meltdown before someone even coaches a game for Alabama. We are all getting the coaching change we desired so how about we don't write off a tenure before it even begins.
