This has been a good game. Some players are coming into their roles nicely.

ETA: We need to keep scoring. DO NOT LET OFF THE GAS!

5 topics im most excited to see answered for TAMU 1. defensive substituions/organization how quick team lines up compared to last year.

2. New scheme? exra dlineman, less linebackers, more hybrid dbs. Geno, LC, Sunseri, Fultons level of play.

3. OLine - hopefully vast improvement from vetch.

4. How well TAMU does on running plays with their stable of new RBs.

5. Who will make a name for themselves? Vogler or Howard at TE? Landon Collins on actual defense? Tenpenny or Drake at RB2? A Dline man? Dillon Lee?

1. Not perfect but a vast improvement.

2. Well it didn't do great obviously, but maybe its what we had to play. Definitely missing a tall physical shut down corner that we had the last 2 seasons. Makes a world of difference. Luckily the only team with WRs this tall and physical are Ole Miss and they don't have the rest of the horses TAMU has. LSU is a different type of problem.

3. Vast improvement. Much more push, the offense was definitely playing vanilla on purpose. Just need to cut out a few of those pre snap penalties.

4. Not very well, wasn't a big part of offense.

5. Both Vogler and Howard stepped up. Collins made some plays despite being burned on the TD. Drake and Fowler both saw some time as the RB2 and both exceeded expectations. Cant remember if Tenpenny got in. Cant even remember if Geno Smith was in the game.
