I swear almost every one of them think LF runs for 150,BH throws for 250 2 TDs and Bama can't score on them because Coker sucks. I am getting more excited everyday that Bama wins by 10 points or more.

I am just glad they are keeping up with our team so well I found out yesterday morning on their board not our that Rueben was back out Harrison and Jackson were back and that only D Jackson may be the only that looks to be a question

So get rid of your subs for the pay sites and go on over to tiger rant if you want real time updates on our team

They have some reason to feel that way. While this isn't their most talented team (Jarvis Landry, OBJ, Mett, Hill, etc. were beastly) this is the team they have playing the best during our run against them. Also, this is the least impressive Bama team of the run (on O). Combine that with the extraordinarily rare talent they have at RB and I understand their confidence.

That said, they were this confident leading up to 1/9/12, too. I expect an intense, hard fought close game decided by 1 score. Typically you go to the team with the better D, so I give Bama the nod here.

It reminds me of the buildup to 21-0. Despite most of the country still thinking Bama > LSU despite 9-6, they were beating their chest and swore they'd blow Alabama out.

True, but this one of least impressive defense's LSU has fielded in a long time.

I agee. I think they are very good but what they do well plays right into Bama'a hands. I am way more concerned about offensive penalties on Bama than anything they are going to show .

I think a lot of it comes from concern more than confidence. I think they are trying to convince themselves with all the posts and threads.

Yes our O has not been stellar at times, but this is one of the few years that LSU does not have a stellar D either. They do have a great RB which is the strength of their offense but it plays into our D better than any other matchup we have had yet. LF could have over 150 yards and 2 TDs next week but unless they can control the clock it will not matter. Harris will have to beat us and I think like many other QBs has seen happen we will force them into pressure and making mistakes that will cost them in the game.

The difference for us this season is Coker does not need to have a great game just not make simple mistakes and we can beat anyone with our D dictating tempo.

LSU fans, at least the rational ones realize they have a great team this year but also realize UA is probably the only team that can beat them still on their schedule. This game is huge for them because if they win and they can I see them in the NC game. It is all on the line for them next weekend because after that I do not see a team that can pose a threat defensively like we can for them the rest of the season.

This game is shaping up to be like the Texas A&M game. I suspect we'll beat LSU in similar fashion...to sleep.

Hope you guys are right. If you are this board will go silent from all the ban hammers flying.

Asking Coker not to make simple mistakes could be a tall order, however.

Even though this is not LSU's best defense, they are still very good up front. The problem they have with their front 7 is depth. They have none at LBer and little at DL, but their starters can play and our OL has been just bad at times this year.

LSU's DL gets in the backfield a lot. Our weakness has been negative plays. If the OL plays good we win. If not it's gonna be hard to overcome against LSU. The OL played bad in long stretches against Ole Miss, Arky, AnM, and Tennessee. And I mean long stretches.

That is the key for us. Our D is built to stop teams like LSU. Even if we don't stop Fournette completely (and we could) we should slow him and them way down enough to win if the OL plays well.

I don't blame them. Our OL is hot garbage, our QB turns the ball over and as good as our defense is there are plays to be made in the passing game.

Agreed watching our offense will make you confident. That being said barely beating Tennessee might have been a good thing, because there is a lot of negativity around the team right now. Usually they play well when everyone doubts them.

Plus to be fair Tennessee is not that bad.

We're confident because Alabama doesn't look great and has already been defeated at home this season. If y'all were undefeated and blowing everyone out, we wouldn't be so cocksure. So in many ways, it is like the build up to 1/9/12.

However, LSU is not that dominant either. Yeah, we have the best player in the country and as much, if not more, offensive firepower than we've had in 20 years. We have areas of concern just like Bama (cough, special teams, inconsistent defense).

Bama's strength is the defensive front seven, probably the best in the country. LSU probably has the best ground game in the country. This match up doesn't really favor LSU.

The real reason I think LSU will win is TURNOVERS and Lane Kiffins cutesy style of offense. LSU has been exceptional this season in not turning the ball over on offense and we've faced a top SEC defense already. Alabama can not exactly say the same.

If Bama doesn't turn it over, I think the Tide rolls but not by much unless LSU goes crazy with turnovers.

So in conclusion, I predict Alabama to beat themselves. Plus LSU is due for a win in this game. Fournette will probably rush for around 100 yards.

As long as our safeties don't bite on the famous Cam Cameron play action pass off fournett.
and we don't give up the back corner fade to Dupree on jones inside the red zone.
There gonna be a one dimension offense.

2.Don't allow fournett to house a run for 7.
he will get yards.just don't let it be long td runs.

KEY TO THE GAME
FOSTER AND RAGLAND TAKING ON THE FB LEAD..

BUT WOULD RATHER WE GAME PLAN FOR PAYNE AND ROBINSON TO PUSH THE GUARD,
INTO THE FB RUN GAPS ALLOWING OUR LB'ERS TO PENETRATE MAKING # 7 CHANGE DIRECTION..

He will get his yards.

Probably very close to 150 if I had to predict.

Chubb ran for 146 and Georgia still lost by 28.

Both sets of fans have good reason to be confident, that's why this is a big game with national implications.

This is one of the few times since 2008 in where I've gone into the Alabama game feeling the matchup is about even. Could easily still lose obviously but more of coinflip this year IMO than perhaps in years past where it was more like 60-40 bama.
