Tuberville was aided greatly by our probation.

While we were still good on #'s Fraudchonie beat the boogs 31-7 at their place.

Saban's second year once we got our #'s back up we beat them 36-0 and could have scored 50 if we had wanted to.

There are others we gave away though ...

The Iron Bowl series was Bama leading 38-33-1 after Auburn’s 6th win in a row during Nick’s first year…they were closing the gap.

Now it’s 50-37-1 in Bama’s favor. That looks a lot better and the way it should be.

4 in a row. 50th Iron Bowl win. 4th and 31 > kick 6. A lot of amazing things happened Saturday.

Fear the thumb, Auburn.

Saban should have no more than 3 loses to AU at Bama. But kicking issues (2013), JH voodoo, and should have put Tua in (2017??). My biggest disappointment is not beating the 6 streak...yet.

His entire career was based on Alabama having been on probation. He was a head coach for 21 seasons. In those, he never managed fewer than four losses except in the time period where nearly every talented player in the state was going to Auburn due to the sanctions against Bama. Even with Bama's probation, Tuberville probably gets fired after the 2002 season if not for Franchione skipping out on practice and leaving the Tide totally confused and listless for the Iron Bowl.
