Tony Brown was taking first team reps over averrett. I haven't been able to confirm but the NCAA may have counted the two playoff games as part of the 4. If anyone knows anything about that please speak up. Anyway thought this was interesting.

Interesting. Could see that being the case. We'll find out for sure tomorrow.

I would have thought NS would have mentioned this if it were the case as it is a big deal.

Me too but the reps thing for sure happened so I'm wondering now. Why would brown take reps over averrett if brown can't play?

could be a ploy to give OM something to think about. Just like not naming a starting QB

I'm trying.

I've been here for 3 years and am actively trying to get stationed somewhere else.

The wife wants to go somewhere in Florida so that's where I'm trying to go. There are 5-6 Air Force bases in Florida, but they are hard to get.

I was stationed in Tampa for my first assignment and hated it. If I can get Patrick AFB on the Atlantic Coast I'd be ecstatic. However, it's the most sought after base in the entire continental US so I'll probably have to spend a year in Korea to get it.

How have you been man?

I do as well and I think he starts. Maybe it was a confusing move like mentioned before. Diggs had taken reps there as well. Who knows

I'd love for him to be back, but there wouldn't have been a reason to keep that hush.

Brown and Diggs both have worn #7. But i wouldnt think Diggs would be with the CBs. He's worked at WR, S, KR/PR. Doubt we'd see Saban throw him in the mix at CB for this game. Double A has played good IMO.

Yeah I thought the two playoff games counted against the four game suspension so he should be eligible now.....

I would think with Ole Miss playing so many 5WR sets.
That they would be preparing for a situation were we lose,
a DB due to being banged up or injured.
ex. with Ole Miss Avg size Wr being around 6-2,they would be concerned about match-ups if a injury occurred.
rather than who plays field, boundary are money.

We slide 15 up with hootie deep in some dime packages.
I expect (ole miss TE #17) to be checked by Fitz or Harrison. in most sets.
But when brown in the game(ole miss freshmen WR).
Humphrey or Everett is good on him.(6-1 225).

But if we loose say Humphrey .Does Fitz or 7(Tony brown) play CB or money.
Diggs size and ability to play Cb or safety is valuable.
If we stop Ole miss running game witched they lacked against FSU..I expect plenty of 5WR sets.

In one of the interviews Fritz was saying how scout team was subbing from both sides(bench'es).
To make sure match ups and calls were understood.
So again we may prefer Diggs and tony instead of true fresh Carter or mayden.

Boz, we are all excited about Diggs and his versatility. He even caught a pass last week. Do you have any idea how fast he is? Is he true 4.4 guy? Thanks.
