Rumor was Ekiyor dislocated his shoulder. Hopefully, there was no tear, etc.

What's wrong with 8? He came back in after getting his heel stepped on.

Yes and no. Depends on if there is any damage to the labrum and or rotator cuff.

79 had a below average game. Tommy Brown came in for that spot

Yeah, he really struggled with fast pass rushers. It would have been a bad matchup if he came in against those small, fast Cincy guys.

Alabama starting right guard Emil Ekiyor’s status is uncertain though he hasn’t been ruled out for the national championship game on Jan. 10.

Ekiyor suffered a shoulder injury on the second drive of No. 1 Alabama’s 27-6 win over No. 4 Cincinnati and never returned to action. Alabama head coach Nick Saban said after the game Ekiyor would have a chance to play in the title game but “it’s probably too early to know” and would depend on how his body responds in the lead up to it.

“Our medical staff will do a great job with all the players injured in the game,” Saban said. “And hopefully we’ll be able to get most of them ready to play.”

True freshman JC Latham filled in for Ekiyor and appeared to play well in his absence. Latham played next to center Seth McLaughlin, who has played admirably at that spot since Darrian Dalcourt suffered an injury against Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Dalcourt practiced leading up to the Cotton Bowl, but did not start again.

I know JoJo played but he didn't look like he was 100%. Will 11 more days be enough to get him back to full speed?

What about JAD's injury heal time?
