Why do Alabama fans CONTINUALLY give Saban a pass on this? It makes absolutely zero sense
WTF? Maybe it's because he's won 4 championships in 7 years, kicking off a dynasty not seen even during Bear's era. Unlike Miles, Saban evolved, both offensively and defensively, to the changes in college football. Saban took a chance hiring Kiffin and it payed off in spades; 3 straight SEC championships, 3 straight CFP appearances, 1 national championship, and potentially another one.
No matter what happens from here on out, I'll give him a pass every time. We're in the golden age of Alabama football because of Nick Saban...we can either enjoy it or bitch and moan 'bout a game we won that, by the way, sent us to the CFP championship game for the second straight year...

Every offensive coordinator has had success with us since Saban has been here and the talent is only getting better.
Kiffin is a joke and Hurts is 18. Hopefully his bullshite play calling does not cost us in the final game.

How many of those other offensive coordinators have more than one SEC ring? That'd be a big fat zero. How many of those other offensive coordinators won championships with 3 different QBs, not mentioning having to adapt his offensive scheme for each one? That'd be a big fat zero. How many of those other offensive coordinators produced the current single season leaders in passing yardage, receiving yardage, and rushing yardage? You guessed it, a big fat zero.
Kiffin is not perfect by any stretch. Clemson could beat us next Monday but we damn sure don't beat Clemson last year without his play calling...nor, off the top of my head, the Iron Bowl in '14 and the Ole Miss game this year. Maybe you can contact Saban and offer your play calling expertise for the championship game...let me know how that goes...

There are a lot of Alabama fans that just never liked Kiffin and never will. They don't like his lifestyle, his attitude (that he has changed),or his swagger.
And no. That doesn't have anything to do with football.

Did Kiffin have to out score Cam Newton or compete against the SEC when it was stacked? Or did Kiffin have to out score Tebow for a championship? Nussimer won a SEC championship and a national championship in his first year, with one qb. He only coached two. Jim was 2/4 on national championships and was still semi early in the process. Two different qb.
What I'm saying is I like our chances much better with Kiffin gone at this point in Sabans tenure. You can defend the dude all day, but defense is why we are where we are today. There's a ton of offensive coordinators in college ball that can put up 40 points weekly with our squad. All day in fact. Every single day. Each and every day that there is, they could do it on those days.
We put up ten on LSU. We scored on D and special teams against Ole Miss. I'll give him Clemson but that's gonna have to be about it.
So he can take his Clemson, which better be two Clemsons. And get the fuc up outta heeeeeeeear.
I'll never understand people getting on here and acting like Saban wouldn't be winning without frickin Kiffin. You gotta be a complete zero bar to think anything other than the fact, that Saban is the reason Lane Kiffin is still getting that college pussy and looking like he might just know what he's doing.
Let's let Lane out on his own again, for the fourth time and see if he can find his way without a mentor before we start crowning him "the reason" lol

Why the fuc not? I've seen what Bo can do. I say we have a fan vote before each play to see what we should run and I bet your mommas sweet arse we win it all.

Feels like a troll thread.
Or just really really stupid.

He is trying to make our vocal player a true freshman who can't pass and commits a lot of turnovers. Pls

And y'all thought I was crazy. Looks like Saban had enough right when I did. We was pretty patient with him.

And lo and behold, look WTF just happened today.
4 championships not withstanding, every Bama fan would have been justified in giving Saban holy hell if he had just sat back and let another fiasco like last Saturday play out on Monday and cost Bama the game
The reason why Saban is the great coach that he is, is the fact that he practices what he preaches about accountability. He's always the one who ultimately is accountable for every facet of this football program.
And that won't change, even when he wins five more championships. Thankfully, he gets that...even if adoring fans like you don't.
