This run in the SECCG is probably the most brutal run I have ever seen.

Helluva first game for a new SEC fan to see.

Henry might not have been ready early on with pass protection and routes. He never had to do that stuff in high school.

I do agree that he is a better talent than Yeldon though.

Yeldon's biggest problem is that he fumbles too much.

Henry's only problem in the sugar bowl was that he got gassed from breaking off big runs.

I'll take Henry.

He also runs to the line and then tries to decide where to go. He did that almost every carry. He seemed to lose his ability to hit a hole on the run.

I wonder whether it is somehow due to the zone blocking this year, but whatever, he's not the same back as last year and is definitely not our best RB.

Our Zone Blocking isn't new this year, no matter what ESPN tells you. We've been doing it for years.

Then he's just lost his ability to hit a hole.

Yeldon is an excellent change of pace back, but it's looking more and more as if he already peaked last year and will be regressing. He pussyfoots around(pun intended)before hitting the hole, and he has serious ball-carrying issues. No news there. Some take it so far as to say he should be moved to flanker, but I'll settle for this: 1. Henry, 2a. Drake, 2b. Yeldon.

Yes, Yeldon's run in the SECCG won Bama the game, but he nearly blew it against LSU in 2012 and aTm in 2013, he did cost the game against aTm in 2012, and his fumble against Oklahoma totally turned the game around. Maybe he'll get it figured out during spring. We can hope I guess.
