he was not running full stride, he slowed down

Not in any of the 30 times I've rewatched the play

The pass would have been thrown perfectly to him had he not slowed down.

any ball that hits you in the hands in the end zone is a perfectly thrown ball

I think OJ is still adjusting to the speed of the game in college vs high school where he was more than likely doing so well strictly because of him being physically gifted. Like the poster earlier said, he is a true sophomore. Sometimes guys like that just need more time. Also, he's had 2 offensive coordinators already so that can't help matters, which also means 2 different playbooks. You guys know that Mizzou will be keyed on Coop, so this just might be a breakout game for OJ.

Then you must be watching another play. He is full stride, slows down a little, then when he sees his misjudges attempts to speed up.

Even with that, your excuses for him aren't valid. Still should have caught that ball. Had he shown the effort necessary, he would have.

Those words...I feel like I have heard them before.

But what do they mean?

We seriously say every game is OJs breakout game because it will take pressure off of Amari. Well Amari is pretty much open 100% of the time so maybe that narrative is a little tired

Yeah but you gotta have a little faith he will show up today. It seems he is on the cusp with the glimpses we've seen the past few weeks. Do yall think OJs effort isn't there?

I see him as the Adrian Hubbard of the offense.

Yeah it was definitely not as bad as people make it out to be. The guy is still only a true soph, and was very raw coming out of HS. We need to cut him some slack.

If he stays 4 years , slack cut. If he jumps pro after 3 He will probably cost himself unless he really breaks our next year.

I still wish we hadn't missed on the kid at FSU.

Are you saying OJ is the reason Amari is unstoppable 1 on 1?

Absolutely not. Cooper cannot be covered by any human, it doesn't matter if it is single or triple coverage.
