Have any of you seen that kid play football or what? Fournette is best at the one thing our front 7 is worst at. Getting to the edge. Every single time we got beat on the run last night (which wasnt many) it was on the edge. Fournette is likely going to have all 10 of our D-Linemen gassed by halftime. That's not me bitching about our D because I think our front 7 is the best in the country. That's me giving props where they are due to Fournette and recognizing the matchup nightmare.

I'm sure he'll have SOME success, but no one runs that offense and runs on our D. I think he could get like 25 carries for 100-110 yards. Not an impressive YPC, but he makes enough runs to keep them in the game.

He didn't run too well last year on the Bama D.

That is not the same Fournette.

I think he'll have some success against us, but if LSU only plans on running him the entire game then they're going to be disappointed.

He won't put up the numbers he did last night. Unfortunately for LSU, they will need him to put up those kind of numbers in order to beat Bama unless they find a passing game before then.

LSU lurkers....

While I was hugely impressed with #7, I am not overly impreessed with LSU. Fournette will get his yards, but LSU really has nothing much on offense.

They're mad because they know we're right.

I think we hold him to around 130. Given that they have nothing outside of their running game, I am confident that we win this game unless Brandon Harris becomes a proficient passer before then.

Lots of LSU fans reading this thread. We actually set the edges pretty well generally. Ole Miss was having some limited success on the read option. Fournette will have his moments, but unless they get Harris going we're just going to stack the box and give him his toughest game of the year. I'm more worried about some other games.

dont think harris cant throw because he can, but its his running ability that will drive bama nuts. and, Who receivers are very good.

I don't think there's a D in the nation he can't run on. He won't be able to work the middle, no one can, but he'll get the edge.

All do respect, most of our QBs look world class against y'all

Only hope to slow him down is to get penetration and hit him before he gets past the line of scrimmage. He is hard to tackle once he gets going. He is going to get his yards. We just have to shut down the other aspects of the their offense and take our lumps with LF. 150 yards and two TDs by LF will not kill Bama in the game. It will though if the other running backs get 150 combined and Harris throws two TD's as well.

Fournette will test our safeties. Last year, Landon was up to the challenge. Not sure how Geno and Eddie will hold up though.

It wouldn't surprise me if we held LF to under 100 yards...and then watch Harris go off and throw for 300+ yards...we have a tendency to give up career days to opposing QBs...

Mett had an all-world worm crawl last time lsu played in BDS. Did Jennings even break 100 against us last year?

I think lsu fans definition of "world class" is different than the rest of ours, unless you are referring to the fact that a majority of the world is poor, in which case I agree that LSU's QBs have been "world class" against us.

Bama will fefinitely bring the safeties up in run support.

LSU will need an un-LSU-like passing effort to beat Bama.
