Yeah, he seems to be the obvious choice. Throw in Saban's love for seniority and you know Coker is the guy.

I just hope he puts it all together. Regardless of what people say, Blake Sims was special. We need Coker to be even more special considering what occurred last season with such a special QB.

Cornwell and Coker are almost mirror images of one another. With our defence the winner will be the one that delivers the ball with the fewest turnovers. It's as simple as that. I believe Coker is ahead in that category. This fall however the battle continues.

as far as height/weight and arm strength, they are very similar. I think where Coker separates himself from the pack is with his physical strength. He's had probably twice as much time in college S&C programs as the other guys. Plus, he's a few years older and a few years more developed. I think his running ability puts him over the top.

He isn't fast, why do people keep thinking that. He will get murdered is he does it to often.

They probably heard he was a better running threat than Winston and just assume Winston is good at running because he is black.

I didn't say he's fast. I said he has running ability. He's not Blake Sims, but he's not Greg McElroy either. He can extend plays with his feet and he can pick up some extra yards if a play breaks down. He ran a Wing-T in high school and if you watch the FSU tapes, they were several designed QB draws called for him.

When I said "i think his running ability puts him over the top" I meant his running ability as compared to the other QBs on the roster.

During my time with FSU S&C he was one of the athletes I worked with (I'm nobody special I just spent two years there as a GA and football was one of the teams I worked with).

He's no Cam Newton but he's plenty capable if he takes off running and he has the capacity to lay a hit, not just take one or slide.
