We haven't opened a season in Tuscaloosa since Kent State came to town to open the 2011 season.

2012 - vs. Michigan in Dallas
2013 - vs. Virginia Tech in Atlanta
2014 - vs. West Virginia in Atlanta
2015 - vs. Wisconsin in Dallas
2016 - vs. USC in Dallas
2017 - vs. Florida State in Atlanta
2018 - vs. Louisville in Orlando
2019 - vs. Duke in Atlanta
2020 - vs. Missouri in Columbia
2021 - vs. Miami in Atlanta

No complaints at all for the way the 2020 season went but I was really excited to play USC in Dallas again like we were supposed to.

That was 2021! Before Covid changed our schedule we were supposed to open the 2020 season against USC

Ok got gotcha, I remember now. I almost booked a hotel and plane tickets at the first of the year, was happy I didn’t because I usually do non refundable plane tickets.

Forecast says decent chance of rain. Hopefully it's wrong.

Only the 19th Tuscaloosa season opener for UA in the SEC era.

16-1-1 in those games. Loss to UCLA in 2001 and tie to Howard (now Samford) in 1935.
