My goodness , you're a pessimistic Bama soul.

I will try to cheer you up with sound reasoning.

1. Bama was sleep walking last year to start the game , we won the last 3 quarters 24-9.

2. V.T. pulled a fast one , they did stuff with their already good defensive line that Bama didn't prepare for , with 3 new starters it confused them , not gonna happen vs. TAMU , whatever V.T. did , you can bet Saban and co. has already taught the O-LINE how to play vs. those tactics , if they occur again.

3. Bama doesn't turn the ball over 3 times again.

4. Bama hasn't lost away from T-TOWN since 2010.

5. TAMU should have lost to Ole Miss. last year , could have lost to La. Tech ( 59-57) and if Bama runs 4 times from the 6 TAMU loses that game, so that 11-2 team was VERY CLOSE to being a 5 loss team.

Don't sweat it , Saban is 7-1 in revenge games , Bama 42 - 20.

I've googled and searched SR but found nothing so forgive me if Germans, but what were Johnny's/aTm's totals in each quarter of last years game? I know we slowed JM/aTm down, just curious how much we held them to. THanks.

I just don't see it. Really the only reason to believe we win is if you know for a damn fact the offensive line is ready to get their shite together. It's not like they had a rough game. They were destroyed.

A&M's defense won't be as bad as they've looked the last two weeks. They'll most likely play bend don't break D and look to get some turnovers. But they shouldn't look lost like they have been.

I'm REALLY excited to watch the chess match between Saban and our D and JM and their O. It's gonna be some great football.

Look I'm not scared or pissed or being chicken little. I just honesty don't see Alabama winning unless something MAJOR changes from last game.

Not a good bump. We could have easily lost. I didn't think we'd lose, secretly hoped we'd whip their arse, but instead I saw something I'd like to forget, outside of getting the W.

Dude, we got a big win against a great NCAA offense.

Not cool, bro. I am very happy to get the win. Quint being such a nega-Bam. Drink up. You should be celebrating. We are well on our way to 16.

People here are welcomed to be negative if they wish. If you don't like it, there are other places you'll fit in better.

If you want to be positive, great. If someone else finds a reason to be negative, that's fine too. Learn to accept that or GTFO. Seriously.

I'm glad, bro. I'm right there with you. But if someone isn't there with us, that's ok. You can disagree and explain why he's wrong, but it needs to be substantive and not come off as sunshine pumping.

I simply bumped homedude's post to rag him for picking A&M and got my arse chewed.

The difference in the game was Vinnie running a tipped ball back 75 yards for a TD. It's not like he predicted the Hitler Youth to beat us only for us to win by 30. That game could have gone either way and we still have a lot of work to do if we want to consistently stop that bullshite offense.

Hell no. Bama hasn't consistently disappointed me throughout my lifetime. Aside from a couple of years, when we were supposed to be good we were good.

I was pretty gloom and doom when we let those fricking Nazis go up 14-0 though. Flashbacks of last year and what not. The OL looked eleventy billion times better today though, which should prevent 2010 v.2.0 from happening. We just need to stay healthy. Cooper needs to get some stickem on his hands and stop being worthless too.

No doubt. I was pretty down at 14-0. I thought there was no chance we were going to stop Evans.

But a win is a win in the SEC. I'll take it. Really only 2 more hurdles with LSU and SEC championship game.

Definitely. Win and move on to next week. At least we finally get a game that should be a pretty easy win.

I'd say OM is a small hurdle too. Their defense is shite but unless we really work on our gameplan against that offense we might have to beat them in a shootout like today.
