I like our secondary vs your receivers, and our chances vs Daks ability to run, but those quick passes worry me.

With their running game being suspect at best, we should sit our safeties back like Tenn did against us. That will take away anything deep. On top of that, their offensive line was getting handled by Mizzou, optimistic that our front 7 will do the same

Also of note, in the 6 games against a Dan Mullen Miss St. team. St has scored over 10 points just once, which was their loaded team from last year.

4 weeks ago, I stated Tennessee would be our toughest game followed closely by MSU.

Dak is a great QB.

I'd be more worried if last night's game was closer.

I don't think our players will be as banged up as in years past.

Bama usually struggles with emotional letdowns after the LSU win. I expect this game to be close for three quarters, maybe more. I don't see Bama losing though.

Worth noting MSST is 4th in the SEC in scoring defense and 5th in the SEC in scoring offense. With it coming after the LSU game and being in Starkville with those cowbells this game really worries me.

Also Dak's completion percentage is up a good bit from last year, though his yards per attempt is down. He's not throwing as many INTs though. His yards per carry is up a little bit too. However overall their running game is only averaging 4.71 YPC, though ours is only averaging 4.53.

De'Runnya Wilson vs Cyrus Jones worries me. It may just be me but I feel like while he's still playing well for the most part Cyrus has his a very small slump recently and Wilson has a lot of size on him. Still, Cyrus is good so he can make it tough on Wilson.

I am concerned a good bit. I think we are much better than Mississippi State(nothing against them I just think we are really good)but I think that coming off of the LSU game it will be hard to play at are best the next week. Second a quarterback that can run is always dangerous.

Y'all are definitely a much better team overall. I think we have one of the more favorable matchups with y'all than any other team on y'alls schedule outside of maybe Tenn. I think Fred Ross has a great game due to y'all focusing in on Wilson. If our defense can stop the run, which is a big if, then we can upset. If we can't stop the run, it could very well be a 10+ loss for my Dawgs. Looking forward to this one more than the Egg Bowl.

I haven't watched Miss State any this year. How are your linebackers? Howard has had a respectable year and can become a reliable target if the run game is struggling and Ridley is getting the most attention.

Dangerous if Dak gets hot. He has to have a flawless game throwing and running.

Huge x factor is the depth on both teams. Bama should be able to grind it out by a minimum of 10.

More worried than about LSU only because I knew Bama would show up for that win or lose but Bama even back in the Stalkings days has a tendency to play very poorly in Starkvilke especially. Hell even in T-Town the Dawgs always play Bama hard. So I'm pretty damn worried.
