How much do you think tickets will be at the game?

I am thinking about heading down to Tampa for the game. It would likely be just a single ticket. For those without tickets, how much are y'all expecting to pay?

hoping for 5-600. willing to pay 9 if it boils down to it. I'm driving 9.5 hours, I'll be damned if I'm not in the stadium

YOLO

full disclosure, this will be my 6th bama game this year and I've only had a ticket beforehand to one (lsu)

This is sort of what I do, to every game. Got into the USC game for 100. Got into the Ohio State game for 100. The ticket Jedi in me is hoping to pay $300. The realist in me knows that it won't be likely

I was really hoping to get in for $300. Don't think there's a chance in hell that $300 will get my skinny arse in the gate at this point. I'll see what I can find, and then probably head to a bar.

just need to be willing to wait until a half hour before kickoff or so. That's as cheap as they'll get without missing any of the game

Only thing I'm worried about is being stuck at the stadium sloppy drunk with no ticket and needing to scramble to a good place to watch the game. Don't really plan on getting that way, buuuuuut it'll probably happen. Not sure I'd feel comfortable scrambling like that.

Please come back later in the week and tell us your stories on how it went for you guys. Im always interested in these fly by the seat of my pants ticket roullette strategy stories. Ive done it twice myself in Dallas and both times paid face value but it was always a bit nerve wracking walking around searching.

I've probably been to 50 bama games and went to 35 of them without a ticket in hand. Never missed a game I planned on going to. There comes a point (kickoff) where that ticket becomes just a worthless piece of paper and the buyer has all the power. That's why patience is key. Sellers would rather get something than nothing, even if they are getting fleeced. I've still yet to pay more than $100 to get into a game and that's including playoffs and iron bowls and sec championships

The problem with this game is going to be the availability I'm afraid. It's not a big stadium and it's an easy trip for both fanbases. The tickets will go for a fair price close to kickoff, there just isn't going to be many of them floating around if I had to guess

watch espn app on your phone. If it comes to that, you don't miss any of the game and aren't scrambling to get somewhere.

I'm open to meeting up with anyone else here prior to the game by the way. A pair won't be any harder to find than a single

The only ticket I've ever had in hand leading up to a game was the 2014 semis in NO. Other than that, it's all wheeling and dealing

I live 15 minutes from Raymond James, though. So not find a ticket won't be that big a deal. Worst possible scenario is I uber somewhere to watch the game while still being close enough to catch a ride back to my apartment.

I'll try to do something story worthy for you, though

Went to that crazy ND at FSU game 2 years ago. Tickets were way too expensive and I was with my gf so we waited at a bar across the street until halfway through the first quarter. Went back to get tickets and the only guy selling them said $100 or frick off. Said he's rip em up before he sold them to me for less. So, i fricked off.

Got 2 tickets from 2 kids walking out the front gate, wrapped 20 dollar bills around each of them, and went to give them to the gate dude. He let me in without taking the money.

Go to the student section and that gate lady tells my gf and me that we have to have student IDs to get in. I pause, look at my gf, and realize we're screwed. So I grab her purse and start berating her about leaving our IDs at home. "I TOLD YOU TO CHECK BEFORE WE LEFT! JESUS CHRIST YOU ALWAYS DO THIS."

Lady freaks out and says, "OMG guys guys guys, I don't want to start a fight between y'all." And, let us in. Met our friends in the student section and watched one of the best games I've ever seen

I'm down. I can make a throwaway email and email you my number or something. I'll probably be solo on Monday because my friends and I are going on a cruise this coming Thursday and they don't want to spend any money. I'll be around for sure.

ill be with a group before the game but they all have tickets. I'll be making moves toward the stadium 1.5-2 hours before kickoff to start testing the market if I haven't stumbled across any by then. Just post in here or shoot me an email username at gmail

Nice dude. I'm still learning the art of scalping tickets. I just need more patience for sure. I paid 120$ for the SEC championship this year. Just started seeing so much blue at the stadium I panicked a hour early and said screw it. I'm gonna just make myself sit in the car 15 minutes til kickoff next time. Then go hunting.

Still debating on going to Tampa. Just afraid with the stadium being so small that they will sell out.

The problem with this one is that face value is $450 minimum. Last year in the days leading up to the game tickets were right around that mark on StubHub and decreqsing. They have been increasing and are at $1,100 this morning. I'm sure there will be some available outside for what less, but there won't be many I bet.

I like to get in early and settled so I'll usually get one about an hour before kickoff either outside or on StubHub.

Safe bet we'll be outnumbered.

This is a weird game for me, I usually scalp for every game, but my dad got me a ticket to this one. First time I've had a guaranteed ticket in a long time
