2 things not talked about...with Burton being hurt, did that have anything to do with the play call? He's one of Milroe's favorite targets down there.

It would have been our only chance to win, but Saban wouldn't have done it. I'd love to hear somebody as him that without him losing his shite.
Our D was gassed, and their coordinators were better than ours. Once they tied it up and it became a chess match that game was over.

That and no awareness. He let up against Auburn at the first down marker on the last drive and did something similar on against Michigan. He decided to lower his shoulder and run through the defender when it was totally unnecessary on 3rd and 23 instead.
