I live right by the stadium. They already finished the indoor practice facility. It's nice, albeit smaller than I thought it was going to be. Most of the old stadium is still intact, which is surprising since they were so gung-ho about demolition. I don't know if they're keeping part of the old stadium intact and just building around it or what. But overall it's coming along.

People that I've talked to about it seemed to have been a bit underwhelmed by what the final results are going to be.

It could be really good and I'm just talking to the wrong people. Anyone else seeing that?

I thought the drawings looked about as good as I could hope for.

It won't be New Alex Box but it looked nice and had all the amenities you could hope for.

But maybe I'm just happy they are doing anything at all. Figured we'd be stuck with it forever (like Coleman).

At 30 million it will be one of the nicest facilities in college baseball. Of course it's likely still behind LSU, Arkansas, South Carolina, and maybe Ole Miss. Mississippi State will be at the forefront if they build the facility they have renderings for.
