Mosley is a top ten talent, but could definitely slide. Fluid athlete, good range at 6'2" with long arms. Sheds blocks extremely well, elite instincts and elite tackling ability. Good blitzer. Only knock I really would have on him is on the occasions where he was asked to take on the leader blocker while the other ILB made the tackle, he would take a bad angle and get blocked out of the play. This was rare of course, but just food for thought.
Would love to see him in Buffalo behind Dareus and playing with Alonso. Could be the nest Willis/Bowman tandem.

I've seen Mosley drop in some mocks to the late 20s. I'd love for him to fall to the Saints.

McCarron provides the highest football IQ amongst QBs in this draft, and some of the best, if not THE best, leadership ability. Good size at 6'3" 220, good not great arm, great accuracy. Has more upside than people think. His timing/anticipation is elite, and his decision making is excellent. Not a great athlete, but multiple times he showed the ability to dodge sacks in the pocket while keeping his eyes down field. Needs to develop a more consistent deep ball, but on the short/intermediate game he's on the money.

Kouandjio apparently wasn't the athlete he was billed to be, but he still has upside. Needs to develop his technique, it's average at best. Has good size and power. Will probably have to start at RT, but he CAN eventually move to LT once the light comes on.

I'm littering this topic with posts, but it's easier this way than to do it all in one post.
Hubbard has the length and is a good athlete at his size. His pass rush repertoire isn't impressive, but he displayed good ability setting the edge against the run and in coverage. Could play Sam in a 43, could develop his pass rush ability and work on improving his first step and remain outside in a 34. Too lean to be thought about as a DE in a 43, imo.

Some knocks on HCD: Isn't an explosive athlete, can be fooled by PA and misdirection.
That's probably all I've got. He's very fluid and smart. Has great range to play Free, and he's a good tackler against the run. Earl Thomas is a decent comparison I suppose, but Thomas is a more explosive athlete. HaHa could play in the slot in Nickel at times if his team wanted him to.
Will be a consistent Pro Bowler, imo.

My man Belue. I knew he'd turn it around in 2013, and for the most part he did. First thing you notice with Belue is he's rarely out of position. His main difficulty has always been finding the ball in the air. He doesn't have great size and needs to bulk up a bit. Explosive and has short area burst. Teams would probably get more out of him in a zone scheme. I think he could play Nickel effectively, and I would be intrigued to move him to FS if I drafted him.

Yeah, but I hope he lands with Buffalo/Green Bay more than anything. Would love for the Saints to get him, but I think what is best for him is Buffalo or Green Bay.

I'm going to kick my dog across the state of Idaho if the Saints go WR in the first.
I hated that fricking Robert Meachem pick back in 2007 and I still hate it.
I want a Corner in the first, preferably Verrett, but they never pick a guy I want.

JV or Fuller would be awesome, but I couldn't complain about Lee in the first at WR. He's a season worth of drops away from being a top 5 pick, imo. Great value at 27.

He's the only one I wouldn't mind. If they draft Lattimer or Adams I'm gonna drunk punch a baby.

If anyone drafts Latimer in the first they get the biggest LOL of the draft.
inb4 Cleveland drafts him at 26

It's too bad all the Tackles will be gone by 27.

Probably so. Zack Martin maaaaayyyyy still be around, but probably not. Everyone else is a reach at 27.

I usually get really involved in the whole draft process but this year I'm kind of taking it easy. I spend most of my time updating the MEGATHREAD now.

For an amateur who gets paid nothing (nor do I really want to get paid for it) and has 0 validity in his opinion and is often seen as a biased homer, I spend way too much time watching prospects and following the draft.

Seeing as the Saints are pretty good and picking so late I didn't feel like watching anything before the draft. Once the picks are made then I'll dive head first into film.

I hope not. Last thing we need is that awful fanbase shitting all over a player just because he went to Bama.
Really hope he ends up in Buffalo.
