I still can't believe Alabama lost.... Because of Foster the didn't attempt a FG and got stopped short on 4th and 2. I mean hell that's 12 points off the board because your kicker can't make them and the coach doesn't trust him

If Saban trusted Griffith to make a 57 yarder, he should have trusted him to make a 30 yarder. This game is on Saban. Never thought I would see Malzahn out coach Saban, but he did today.

Nah you trust your experienced kicker but Saban lost faith in Kade after the second miss. You saw him go for it on 4th and 2 on what would have been a 40-45 yard attempt. Then he tried the FG and Foster kicked it low to be blocked, he went with the freshman because he had 0 faith in Foster at that point

You need to quit telling a grown man how to post.

The broadcasters said the WAS NO MOVEMENT costing us 3 points. We dont get an obvious helmet to helmet 15 yard penalty but the refs give them a soft 15 yard penalty on a block kick scramble.

Idon't mind losing but I hate getting cheated.

Watch the 3rd down play at 5 minutes , Yeldon had the ball on the yellow line and the same guy who called the holding call and the illegal movement on the FG spotted him a yard away from the 1st down.

I don't tell you how to chat on a message board, don't tell me how to, I see it my way you see it yours.

All talking about the refs does though is make you sound like you can't take a loss.

No. The ball was on the 13 yard line. It would have been a 30 yard FG and would have won the game. He lost confidence in Foster...if you trust Griffith to make a 57 yarder, you trust him to kame a 30 yarder.

The refs were generally shitty on both sides, I thought. I thought the spot on Yeldon's 3rd and 1 at the end was pretty suspect, but we had plenty of chances to put this one away so don't put it on the refs. Last year's o-line would have punched one of those in.

Maybe on the bright side it will shut up some of the "Bama pays the ref" idiots...Actually, it probably won't.

FACTS ARE FACTS, and it wasn't refs it was ONE REF.

We still should of won, dropped passes, not playing the pass with 40 seconds leff when they had to pass, but 1 ref changing the game by making 7 or 8 horrible calls, and why wasen't the 3rd down run by Yeldon reviewed, THAT PISSED ME OFF, AT LEAST REVIEW IT.

Ball on the yellow line REF MARKS IT A YARD SHORT.

Why didn't we put the ball in AJ's hands last? A Hail Mary would have been better than that crap

Why didn't we put the ball in his hands when we ran Yeldon five times in a row and turned the ball over on downs at the 13? Last three results of those carries? 2, 0, and 0 yards.

Yep. Failing to attempt a single pass when they were completely sold out against the run is 100% inexcusable.

And I'm glad I haven't seen anyone blaming Nussmeier. It's not on him.

I'm not on the fire Saban bandwagon but something that has always driven me crazy about his defensive system is he is way to balanced if that makes any sense. He makes his D fundamentally sound to the point he is defending the deep pass while playing Marshall. Johnson sold out to stop our run game, Saban wouldn't sell out to stop theirs.

Did we even have a defensive game plan? Or was it to be a constant running around in circles looking lost. And I'm done asking why a Eddie Jackson isn't playing. I'm convinced that he was an optical illusion. Remember that freshman that shut down Moncrief/Treadwell? Me neither. It must have been a hallucination.

I hated our new DB coach back when he was hired.

I don't blame the poor defense on the staff. The DL let Auburn manhandle us at times, and also at times we didn't play with discipline in maintaining assignments against the option.

Staff is responsible for putting our best personnel on the field. Eddie Jackson was not out there. He could have prevented the touchdown to the tight end. Cyrus Jones was lost.
