With Fromm departing for the Nfl, the mass exodus of players the week 3 game with Ga is looking up. They have no proven qb even with the Newman transfer and only one returning starting olineman.

Though their defense may still be strong, they have no splash players on offense. Should be an enjoyable game for those of us loving the Crimson.

With what we got back Junior wise I liked our chances against them Fromm or No Fromm

That game will be a war. UGA has one of the most talented rosters in CFB and Kirby’s goal in life is to beat his daddy once. I like our chances but it’s gonna be an all our battle.

This. UGA is equally as talented as Alabama and Kirby is still a good motivator. George Pickens is as talented as they come.

I like our chances now that Fromm is gone, but I doubt Alabama is going to blow them out. If they were coached by Richt, it would be different.

All this is obviously speculation but as we sit here today I like our chance A LOT.

Georgia's offense took a big step back this season despite having an experienced NFL caliber QB and talent everywhere you look. The one thing they had different was James Coley calling the plays. As long as he returns, UGA isn't going to be able to keep up with any highly effective offense they face.

Besides Fromm leaving who transferred out?

I disagree. Normally I would say a matchup between these two would yield what you’re predicting. But losing all but 2 starters offense, plus what Bama will return on defense (not just starters but additional experienced leadership we missed the majority of the season) and the offensive weapons returning, only having to replace one OL, etc...

This game being at home, realistically it could get out of hand. Talent helps but I could actually see UGA losing 4-5 games next season with the attrition they’re about to go through.

That's all well and good, but they will likely bring a top 5 defense into BDS. Their new QB may actually be an upgrade over Fromm as a duel threat guy. If we get out of that one with a 1 point win, I’ll be ecstatic.

UGA has had tremendous recruiting classes the last 3 seasons, and some of those youngsters are salivating to step on the field next year and prove something. This is going to be slug-fest.

I actually see a 10 point win. I think they'll struggle again with their offense.

Naw. We will kill them. And then their downward spiral intensifies. They will lose 4 games next year. Roll Tide!

ha yeah, I know I'm the outsider here but this reeks of what the entire CFB world said abotu bama after 2010. And then tried to say again after 11, and 12, adn 13, and 14...

We will lose some games next year, no doubt about it. Bama for sure being 1, and probably at least 1 more along the way if I had to guess. Another 11-2, or maybe 10-3 season seems likely. There ain't no way in hell we're losing 4 games though unless we're decimated by injuries. Our defense was elite this year and pretty much only loses Reed at safety and brings back everyone else. They will be nasty again. Our offense has hella turnover but everyone railed on how bad our offense was this year so is that really a bad thing? Aside from bama we are clearly more talented and likely better than everyone else on the schedule, and we get AU and UT at home.

You know Ga lost their entire starting backfield along with all of their oline except 1. This will be a new unit, that wasnt good this past year, with a qb that has never played or practiced in their system.

If you keep the same OC, it is a terrible thing. You'll have the same bad game plans and offensive schemes being executed by less experienced and probably less talented people.

Having said that, it will take an epic train wreck for UGA to lose 4 games.
