Vinnie going early really makes no sense. Would be very surprised if this ends up as more than just message board rumor

With this receiver class white would be half retarded to go pro. Landry and beckham won't even go as high as you'd think

I think everyone knows that he'll have to be a combine warrior just to see a 6th or so round pick, otherwise he's probably an UFA.

Jokes aside they play two different positions.

A lot of the WRs are taught all the spots.

White was lined up a ton in the slot in the Sugar Bowl, Jones was hardly playing.

Vinnie is just generating a little publicity. The dude understands the process. He will be back for one mo gen.

Word it tension between Sal and Saban. Something to do with his time after UT, also Vinnie on special teams. That's where his injury occurred.

That's the word on another gump site from some clowns who seem to know.

I left a different message board to come here after the administrator, who claimed to be "in the know" all but guaranteed Saban to Texas. I need not name names, but I've got a sneaking suspicion it may be the same situation.

Sunseri leaving would be a tremendous blow. I would have to change my prediction for next season to 10-3 best case scenario.

It would be a loss no doubt, but it remains to be seen how much of an impact VS will have next year. Injuries like the one he suffered are extremely difficult to come back from, and he lacked plus athleticism in the first place. That would also seem to make him going pro much less likely. There is little chance that he would test well less than 6 months after an ACL tear, and without good combine numbers he'd probably be looking at UDFA status.

Am not saying it applies to these two, but we need to process at least half a dozen guys. After our seniors leave, I read we have 95 scholarship players. So far we have 4 declaring, so we need to open up at least 6 more slots to get to 85. May see some other strange departures.

@schadjoe: Alabama S Vinnie Sunseri, 20 tackles and 2 INT for TD in 7 gms, is recovering quickly from ACL and will enter the NFL Draft per sources

I find this crazy. He could be a UDFA easily.

it would have to be something personal for Vinnie to leave.
