If Bama makes it through Arkansas, LSU, and UT on the road, I will be doing handstands.

That girl at Innisfree knows how to make a Long Island. Dang.

Mizzou, if you've never screamed "DEUCE!!!!!!" On a punt return you're dead to me. Plus you won't kiss my arse.

Realistic take on the season. We remain unsettled at QB, and without an ironclad running game to back it up and hide the weakness this year, we drop an early game. (USC maybe?) Defense is rock solid as is the punting game. the guy that starts the season under center (Bateman) won't finish there. Offense will struggle some with unproven RB's behind a retooled line and a green QB. Also a mild case of complacency hits this year. We aren't hungry enough and finish 10-2, still go to Atlanta, beat the east rep and are left out of the playoffs as a 2 loss team.

Any chance you'd still be up for kissing my arse?

I'll wipe your arse and then stuff the shite stained toilet paper up your nostrils.

In the 60s and early 70s Mizzou owned Alabama.

Missouri was 2-1 against Alabama over a stretch of 20 years.

They played ONCE in the 60s (1968, Bama finished 8-3).

Ehhhh...

In the 60s, Mizzou had some great seasons. 11-0, 8-1-2, 9-2... they never did better than 8-4 (twice) in the 70s and finished a fairly mediocre 58-56 over the 70s - including a losing record in conference (31-39).

I think your version of the 70s isn't meshing with actual Mizzou history.

On a side note, how DID Mizzou beat Alabama in 75? Pact with the devil? Last remaining wish from a genie? Biological warfare?

Lost 10-35 to MO in the 1968 Gator Bowl on 12/28. Exactly 18 days after Pat Trammell died. Please read the following LINK and decide for yourselves if Coach Bryant gave a rat's arse about playing MO at that time.

Edit: Roy was a little off about the November '57 timeline. Texas A&M was 8-0 and ranked #1 in the AP Poll LINK when Coach Bryant visited the Trammell's. The word did get out because they would lose their last 3 games. By 1 point at Rice (not in the Gator Bowl), by 2 points to UT (Texas), and by 3 points to ut (tennessee) in the Gator Bowl.

Suffering...you call that suffering? My Dad raised me as a rabid Cubs fan and because of the Cubs I grew to hate baseball. Now that they are good, I can't watch. I know suffering!
