Not a recent event, but a recent quote.
A couple of years ago, a Bama fan calls in to Jack Arute and Gino Torretta's show on Sirius and gets Torretta talking about the Sugar Bowl vs. Alabama. Torretta says he's on the sidelines after the first couple of series, on the headset to the offensive coaches up in the box, trying to figure out what's going on with the Bama defense. Coaches in the box tell Torretta he's going to have to give them a few more plays to figure it out. Torretta's response: "F*** you! My head's hitting the concrete on every play!"

Not sure who wrote the article but it was the Sports Illustrated article on the 1992 Sugar Bowl where Bama beat Miami 34-13 for the NC.
