I'm getting the preseason chub. I really hope cornwell shows out and passes everybody. I want the best QB playing, I just hope he is good enough to be that QB. Two 1 and done QB's in a row just doesnt feel like Alabama football.

-- Reserve center Joshua Casher was not spotted on the field.

-- Nick Saban will meet with reporters after practice.

Both were medically cleared following spring practice. Jones and sophomore Tony Brown were the first-team cornerbacks in drills during the portion of practice open to the media. Devall and junior Ryan Anderson were the first-team outside linebackers.
