Offense shite the bed. No time of possession taken off in the 2nd half.

We didn't have an answer for Mike Williams, he's unreal.

Can't expect to win when an offense like theirs runs over 100 plays.

Offensive line sucked, it's been subpar all year. The play calls were frustrating mixed with Jalens ability to throw incomplete passes but he's got ice water in his veins when it matters.

Deshaun Watson is your prototypical QB that beats Bama. He's Cam, Manziel, Tebow, and Chad Kelly all rolled into one. That guy is a stud and if he had Mike Williams last year they may have won that one too.

Overall they were better tonight. Our defense needs to stop using the "mad at giving up a lot of yards" revenge motif. It never works. Ultimately, Clemsons offense still gives Saban fits. I knew 100% they would score after Hurts ran it in.

Good season boys, we got this far with an 18 year old at QB.

Agree with everything but this. The defense was doing a pretty decent job of containing Watson...until they started getting tired because the offense wasn't doing shite.

1. Hurts is not a good passer at all. Period. End of discussion. Maybe he will get better in the off season. Maybe he won't. Maybe he will get beat out.

2. Sarkisian did OK under the circumstances. Anyone expecting a lights out performance by the offense was kidding themselves. Our OL is mediocre.

3. If Bo doesn't get hurt, maybe we win. Maybe we don't.

4. We have some guys who aren't very good in coverage. I don't get how any expert has Humphrey as a high draft pick.

5. You can't underestimate the impact of the loss of Eddie and Shaun Dion.

#1 Hurts improves his passing enough to stave off Tua and let him mentor under the sophomore starter, now giving the offense new life in the air.

#2 Tua wins the job... because he's better and tries his hand at being the first freshman QB to win a title for Bama.

To be honest, seems like the team wins either way...

Id like a redesign of the routes myself. If the OL is mediocre, no 18 year old can overcome that...and ours came damn close to overcoming it. Fix the OL and find better ways to get WRs open and Jalen will get better in the offseason.

They took advantage of Bama's playcalls on both sides, they knew what was coming and were calling it out before the snap.

Defenses were planning against the run all night. We still got ours even with Clemson run blitzing. Our line did fine.

For the record, your defense played significantly better than people in the media are giving credit

They gave up ~5.1 yards per play which is pretty exceptional given they faced 99 plays. Compare that to say your great effort vs AU where you gave up 4.1 USA/play

It wasn't the best showing but way better than say the 7+ vs Ole Miss.

The media wants the Deshaun Watson hero story. In reality their defense won the game

Our offense sort of sucks because we are one demensional. Everyone knows Hurts can't throw it past 10 yards. Gotta get that crap fixed. Amazing we only lost 1 game considering we had ZERO vertical threat all year. I mean zero.

When Hurts gets chased out of the pocket, have we ever had a WR work back to him?

True, just that Watson putting team on his back and Bamas D playing well doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.
Watson had a great passing game despite a near non existent run game that avg 2.2 YPC.

Bama had a good defensive game given the circumstances the D was put in, if Hurts is even serviceable on 3rd down y'all win

Also, Mike Williams was as big as Watson. That guy is a freak

It's amazing because it's not true...
