At beating Ole Miss?

I mean seriously. All kidding aside

It seems like Milroe is our best chance to win this weekend and that's still not a very good chance.

It feels like we need 4 or 5 more tuneup games, but oh shite we're already approaching week 4 and the season is well underway and we still don't have the QB position figured out. Ive never experienced a season like this in my life. We don't have a fricking QB. What the frick is going on?

Is Saban going to magically fix this, or is this going to be as bad as it seems like it will be?

If Milroe comes out and throws some shitty INTs in the first half do we turn to one of the freshmen?

It seems like Lonergan or Holstein are the only hopes we have at this point.

We are fricked.

I wouldn’t go that far yet. We have the talent. We could salvage a good season with some OL shift and just prepping and playing one QB.

Ole Miss knows we are down and will throw the kitchen sink at us.

So you were born in 2007?

Like Boz said if the OL and QB gets some stability it’ll do wonders. Is there time for that now? Nope, we’ll just have to hope to ride the defense until the offense gets it together.

I suggest praying, it’ll calm you.

This is the kind of game Kiffin and Ole Miss find a way to lose. Bama wins and I got sneaky feeling it might be big.

That’s pretty pessimistic, it’ll be a dog fight and I don’t see how we cover 7, but we could win for sure

But we need to get ready for a couple more L’s on the schedule, and maybe one bad one like @KY

If there's a defensive coordinator in America who could make any of our quarterbacks look like Heisman winners, he's on staff in Oxford.

There's hope - Pete Golding is calling the defense for the other team.

If Alabama stops losing TD's due to penalty I suppose on paper they could still win against Ole Miss. It's just so hard to see. Our left tackle is too slow, his backup didn't look any better this spring, we have no QB, our running backs are all "B" team. The defensive line is non existent, Possibly the worst ever fielded in my lifetime. Which might explain why everybody thought we had a good OL.

This team looks very much like the team that took the field in 1984. The year before they had a pretty good season and most of the stars on that team were from the late bear Bryant era. Without really realizing it our recruiting had gone down hill years before and when these guys arrived as starters suddenly beating Vandy became an issue. The team was arrogant even in losing, but after getting humiliated every week they finally stopped talking and America wrote them off as history. they improved a bit as the season went on and ended up somehow beating Auburn. To this day I don't know how they managed it because Auburn was several tiers better at that time.

In another parallels the staff at that time had some guys who needed to retire or go sell insurance.

So is everyone in agreement that Milroe gives us our best shot to win?

I mean I can't stand watching him play, but nothing could be worse than the QB play we saw in Tampa

With the OL issues, Milroe is the only option at QB. The OC needs to do his job, give Milroe one easy read and if it's not there tell him to run like hell towards the end zone.

No, Simpson looked OK to me in Tampa.

Our OL was horrific. Buchner was horrific.

Simpson looked like a more mobile Jake Coker to me and Jake Coker won a lot of games in Tuscaloosa.

First I'd shift the OL around:
-Proctor inside
-Pritchett or Booker to OT
-Ferguson to OG
-Seth and DD fight it out for C

Then I let Ty have a half to see if he can get it going with the full offense.

If at halftime we cant get functional against a defense that isnt great I'd shift to a power RPO offense with Milroe and start working the portal for a QB for next year.

This. I think Milroe needs more carries than pass attempts

I like your post with one small exception. I'd give the second team center, James Brockermyer a long look at starting. Dalcourt is just terrible regardless of where you put him.

Simpson passed for fewer yards vs USF than Cooper Bateman threw for vs Ole Miss before getting benched...

Given what I've seen through 3 games, it would take biblical revelations for our offense to become competent.
