As a future lawyer and someone who has had an ordeal with law enforcement, I agree! A lot of cops are mostly lames who were punks in High School and have a complex which power builds upon. I've seen and personally had police file charges only not to show to court because they knew it was a bunch of bullshite. Not saying T. Brown wasn't in the wrong, but I wish people would get over the "your guilt, because you are arrested" spill and let it work itself through the courts system before casting judgement.

Yeah, cops aren't the smartest people out there.

Which is exactly the point of the people in the middle of "Most cops are terrible" and "He done it". You yourself are saying most cops are "lame", which is absurd and a judgement.

I been tossed in the clink more than I can count, and usually because I was doing something illegal. I've come across good, bad and indifferent cops in my days(and Virginia Beach has some of the worst because it's so boring here, they have nothing better to do than harass people). Basically, like any other segment of society.

TPD is probably close to the same on boring scale and those parties (which TPD knows about every Sat night) especially official T&F team parties what this one seemed like was a damn magnet

That vid was bad at the end

I know a few City Police Officers and only 1 of them are what I would consider "good officers". He has never displayed the "I'm the law and what i say goes" police attitude. He is assigned to a HS because he is fantastic with interacting with the HS kids and they respect him.

Also know a few Deputies and they have " I'm above the law" attitude 24-7-365. I standard "rolling stop" has a 90+% of turning into a brawl because of their attitudes. Total asses really...both in uniform and out.

I concur. But the reality of the situation is he needs to learn to navigate it properly. If the cops are in the wrong it will come out and he'll be fine.

Deputies are rejects from the police force. That is the reality of that. They are marginally above CBP officers on a good day.

But the ones in the middle get blasted by the ones on here that say he did it. To many people jump to the conclusion that he is guilty based on a police report that I suggested may not be completely true. Yet many on here think because someone wears a badge what they say is the gospel.

As I mentioned the situation probably could have been handled by the LEO better and it appears it was not.

U have not heard of photo shop? All police cars being public property and I am pretty sure vanity plates and plates of that nature are not allowed. So I think you have been fooled.

I have heard of photoshop. I also know for a FACT that that is a real photo. I saw the car in the exact spot the picture was taken. My friends lived right across from that cop. I saw it all the time. AL.com had an article about it after the picture got on the internet. The TPD had to issue a statement saying the cars were no longer allowed to have those types of plates. This was around 2008.

Here it is LINK

The guy lived in an apartment complex on Snows Mill Ave in Northport.
