Battle will play some, we won't have much established depth behind Mayden and Mckinney. I don't know if Christian Harris will play, he'll be learning a new position. He could contribute on special teams with his size and speed though.

In addition to the guys listed, I think Hellams, Turnage, and Carter will all get some playing time next year. Eboigbe is another one that is physically ready to play

Neal, Eboigbe and Alfano should see a lot of time.

Yeah it’s good that he has confident but that’s not happening with tua on the team.

He’s the only real lock we have to see considerable playing time.

Learning to be an ILB at the Alabama level will take some work. Best option for him might be a red shirt year to learn. If you expect him to try to go to the NFL early, go ahead and burn a year with special teams. I doubt he will be a big contributor until he has had at least one spring and one fall camp under his belt.

I tried to make the move from OLB to ILB back in the day. Dealing with blockers coming from multiple directions and still reading the keys was more than I could handle effectively in a "short" period of time. Slowed my play speed down too much learning to process the additional information.

Yeah...he won’t start, but I’d be surprised if Saban doesn’t get him game reps in case he’s needed.

We’ve needed all the LB help we can get the last 2 seasons.
