were there any? It did not appear to be from my couch. I know 39 got poked in the eye but he returned a couple of series later.

Speaking of the pass rush it was virtually non existence. Have a great day and stay out of the storm surge you Floridian Tide Fans

Took a while for Anderson to become the pass rusher he became. Allen also. Just takes time for players to find out what they're good at and develop into better overall players. Also, some players just have that natural ability to get after the QB. We really took a hit with Miller and Lewis going out for the year IMO. Maybe Rashaan Evans is versatile enough to rush on 3rd downs, so hopefully he'll come back healthy from the groin injury.

Defense played pretty vanilla from what I saw. Understandably it's against Fresno State, but no intensity and no blitzes.

I was at the game yesterday and didn't see Hand playing JACK. Anyone see if he lined up there? I think that's a better overall fit him than DE.

I was at the game too and it appeared to me with a few exceptions that most of the day the defense was playing "mush rush" up front just trying to get hands in the QBs face and not actually trying to pressure him. Maybe because they have an offensive philosophy of short quick throws to get it out of the QBs hands? If that wasn't the case then the DL played terrible yesterday. If they indeed invoked the mush rush then the lack of pressure was understandable.

Fresno State did the same thing FSU did with the RB and TEs doing the chip blocks.

On "Hey Coach" Saban said Hand wasn't going to play OLB, but could be used as an edge rusher in the dime package.

saw where Cotton may be banged up. If he cant go who is next man up. I know Casher played there with the second OL but wouldn't you take the next best OLman and move him there like Willis

We have lots of guards. Should be a lot of competition if Cotton is out.

No we are good nothing season ending. IMO Cotton isn't the best guard. I heard the other day that Leatherwood was getting some looks there. We all know Wills is better at RT so that will likely happen.

Cotton was soo inconsistent last year. He looked a little better when he was inserted back in after Shank's career essentially ended, but then he got destroyed in a SEC game(Tennessee I recall?).

May have been Tennessee as well, but put on the tape of the LSU game last year. Just make sure you have a sad trombone on loop as audio while you do so.
