Gained a lot of support and admiration for,the guy with the way he's been playing. He's not scared and plays with a lot a passion, and seems to have a mean streak to him. Kind of reminds me of a more athletic and better over all Freddy Kitchens. Thoughts on that comparison.

Coker has earned my respect whatever else happens this season...may not be the most talented but he is tough and gritty. For better or worse, he is our man now and we all need to get behind him.

I've been really hard on him. His grit has won me over.

I was saying the same thing at our local showing

quote:

Freddy Kitchens.

My favorite in the game was the defensive player that dove at Henry and laid Henry out on the tackle and tried the same thing to Coker and Coker barely budged and kept going. That tells you all you need to know about how tough he is.

Gotta respect the fact that he gives it his all no matter what.

This might be common knowledge but he was playing with the flu for Ole Miss...he had a fever of 102 while he was playing that day. Might have had something to do with Bateman starting as well.

Love seeing him lower his shoulder when he takes off though....Just stay healthy!!

maybe it's the number and the height. maybe its the lumbering running style and toughness he shows. maybe its the cannon arm that teases us while not showing us consistently what's possible, but the guy reminds me of Tyler Watts with more talent around him.

I'll say this for Freddie, though, he could throw a football directly through a wooden door...if he hit the door.

I know a lot of people don't like for players to say or do anything after the play, but Coker consistently gets up after a big run or a big hit with something to say. He likes to get chippy with the other team. May not always be the smartest thing to do, but I'll be damned if jtsossnt fire me up every time.

Even the Arkansas and UGA fans watching it with us at the house got fired up after the hits he put on people
