I'm actually really surprised that all of the Najee Harris defenders haven't commented on 247 ranking Akers ahead of him.

Devil's advocate: Top three players on 247 are all uncommitted. Trying to get more clicks?

Also, the battle of Najee vs Akers really doesn't matter. They're both phenomenal backs. What matters more is their oline at the next level. See all three of LF1.6 games against us for reference.

Najee vs. Akers is like Julio vs. AJ. They're both great and will likely be going at it throughout college and into the NFL battling for that "best back" label.

TideSaint does a great job with this thread, but his opinion of Akers seems largely driven by where he goes to school. At least the banter and saltiness of how he's handled the Akers vs Najee debate seems driven by fandom.

My Ohio State friend that claims to be friends with a Miami "insider" just texted me to say his guy is calling Jerry Jeudy to flip to Miami.

Kid has been getting a lot of pressure to stay home after losing his sister and Mom health.
Saban and Mario asked him not to take the Miami visit so close to early reporting.
Kid took it anyway.
Not sure if it's been really confirm that he told Bama coaches as been reported

I hope it was and he is really solid.

Welp, like I said, our top 4 recruits are visiting elsewhere.

Harris-Michigan
Leatherwood-Florida

So 4-5 star EE are visiting elsewhere right before the dead period. Leatherwood seems solid, but sounds like the other 3 could flip.

I don't get the overreaction. I think they're all staying put.

Leatherwood visit went well. Auburn is preaching development and having a couple lineman honored this weekend helped. Unnamed source says "We'll see"

Huh? Cam Rob just won the Outland and we've had plenty of award winners and 1st rd draftees.

Also FSU can't really be mad about Cowan and Wright. They got Demarcus Walker, Matthew Thomas, Travis Rudolph, Jalen Ramsey, Marquez White, Eddie Goldman, and Jameis Winston. Also Chris Casher and Justin Shanks. I may be leaving a couple out.

Kain Daub as well.
