Nasirildeen's top five is Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, South Carolina and Florida. The Concord, N.C. star is planning on camping at all five of those schools and Georgia. Nasirildeen said he is closest with coaches from Florida State, Florida, South Carolina and Alabama. Expect him to commit later in the process.

It's too bad Verne won't be around for this kid's career.

Caleb Farley committed to Virginia Tech early in the process and that has attracted additional schools. South Carolina and N.C. State recently offered and he is receiving interest from Kentucky and Vanderbilt as well. At this point, Farley says Virginia Tech is his favorite offer but his dream schools as a kid were Florida and Alabama. He might camp at both of those schools.

Virginia Tech, North Carolina, and Wake Forest are doing the best job recruiting Dax Hollifield so far. He plans on visiting Virginia Tech on June 1 and wants to visit Penn State. Hollifield will visit Georgia or Alabama on June 11 and will visit the other on June 14.

Justin Foster has a top seven of Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, Kentucky, Stanford and Notre Dame. He will visit all seven this summer and then narrow his list to three. Stanford will likely make the cut. Foster wants to take official visits and will commit some time during the season.

ACC, Big Ten, SEC powerhouses after five-star RB Zamir White

"I'd say Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Clemson, NC State and South Carolina are recruiting me the hardest," White said. "It really means a lot that they're showing much interest. But I'm wide open right now and don't have any favorites."

His last trip was to Florida State.
"I went down there for one of their spring practices and it was great," he said. "I really enjoyed watching Dalvin Cook -- he's a great player. I'm definitely going to visit again, but I'm not sure when yet. "While I was there, I had a chance to speak with coach (Jimbo) Fisher one-on-one and we had a great conversation. He told me that I'm a great player and to stay humble. It meant a lot that he took the time to talk to me."

As for what's next, White hasn't set any dates for any upcoming visits. However, he mentioned North Carolina and Georgia as possibilities. Although White doesn't plan to narrow his list of schools until sometime during his senior year, he said there are four that have a good shot to make the cut.

"I'd say Alabama, Georgia, Auburn and Clemson have a good chance," he said. "All those schools have produced many great running backs and that stands out to me."

It's Hulk (that Saban was referring to). TI confirmed it. He actually referenced this a few days ago, but nobody noticed it. He mentioned Saturday "it's not clear if/when Jones will report".

“My family could come see me play a lot,” Wade said.” My grandma could see me. My great grandma could see me. My mom would be happy because she’s a big Crimson Tide fan.” “She said she’s going to be a Shaun Wade fan if I go somewhere else, but still going to be an Alabama fan,” Wade laughed

quote:

He admits that the Buckeyes staff has been nervous about where he stands with his commitment.

“To be honest, they have expressed that, but I have told them that I am 100 percent and this is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me, so I still want to visit other schools if I can,” Wade said.

Wade was born in Alabama, moved to Italy when he was 4 years old because of his dad’s service in the Navy, moved back to Alabama when he was 7, then moved to Jacksonville, where he’s been since he was 8. Despite living in Florida for the majority of his life, Alabama is considered his true home, according to Wade. Most of his family still lives in the Montgomery area. The quick drive to Tuscaloosa, if he were to choose Alabama, would be ideal for his family to see him play on a regular basis.

“Family is family. That’s your blood,” Wade said. “My grandmas are big in my life. My parents do so much for me. It would be big for me to have them at my games.”

The state of Florida’s No. 3 prospect plans to study sports medicine when he gets to college. He’d like to double major, but he doesn’t know what he’d pair sports medicine with just yet. Wade is working toward being an early high school graduate so he can start college in January. He would like to have his college decision finalized by November. Wade is the Tide’s No. 1 cornerback target. When he makes his final decision, expect Alabama to be strongly considered.

“Alabama has always been one of the top schools in the country for my entire life pretty much,” Wade said. “If they want me as their No. 1 cornerback recruit, that’s very big for me.

When did grades become an issue for Hulk? I always thought he was good to go.

Not sure. I'm a little confused about all of that myself. BamaK posted last night that Hulk is at best 50/50 to ever step foot on our campus as of right now. Not sure about that, but it would be a huge blow to our DL recruiting if so.

He really liked Bo Davis, maybe with him gone he decided he doesn't want to be at Bama.
As far as grade concerns, the only four players I ever heard anything on was
Diggs
Davis
Emmons
Robinson

The JUCO DE I posted about yesterday is supposed to announce late this afternoon. Saban is supposed to watch his film today and decide on an official offer. If he gets it, I think we land him based on his interview with BOL this morning.
