Rumor on UGA boards is that 2017 QB Jake Fromm will commit to Alabama soon, if he hasn't already

Nah. Only the elite guys. The staff doesn't want them to fill up so quickly this year. They want to have a few open for around signing day this time. A welcomed change in strategy.

Hockman named UGA his leader a few weeks ago and many think he will commit soon.

I saw the thread on the Georgia 247 site and started one on BOL, but I haven't seen a Bama site mention him as either getting an offer or committing today.
I guess we'll know sooner or later either way. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

BOL has confirmed Alabama has offered Class of 2017 QB Jake Fromm of Warner Robins, Georgia. His dad has this to say about the offer:
I guess he hasn't committed yet, but it appears it may be a formality at this point.

Doesnt appear to sling it hard, but all of his balls seem to have a nice spiral. Its hard to tell how accurate he is since its a highlight video but i like him overall. Id rate him about an 8.
