His father told the papers in Louisiana that he didn't know that Dylan backed off his pledge, but he told Al.com Bama sits as #2

Just sounds like he wants to enjoy the ride without getting the nth degree every time he goes to visit another school

It's gonna get worse now that he is no longer committed. He was already enjoying the process as a commit, he's visited a lot of schools, I think it's something behind the scenes.

This. This kid will get the red carpet treatment anywhere he wants to visit as an LSU commit or not.

I think it's probably just like he said in his statement. He probably doesn't quite feel right going on visit after visit to other schools while committed to LSU. I respect his decision to decommit if he wants to keep taking lots of visits over the next year and half. That said, no way he winds up anywhere but LSU.

Yes word around here on radio is that this guy is and will be all LSU. They do think it's a good chance Allen ends up elsewhere. They believe Alabama and Arkansas are legitimate threats for White and an outside chance that Lawrence goes elsewhere as well.

He may be in a lose, lose situation. Regardless of him just wanting to enjoy his process, LSU fans are going to harass the shite out of him. He goes to school on their campus so that won't be good. Hopefully someone pisses his dad off enough that it makes the entire family say "f" LSU

Anything can happen between now and signing day.
Some kids want to stay home, some kids want to leave the nest. He could be fed up with it all by the time it's time to put pen to paper.
All things considered, yes he probably ends up at LSU, but I'm not going to sit here and pretend like this isn't good news for us. If it isn't LSU then it's bama. So how does the news today feel?
Feels good man.

Mike Farrell on Dylan Moses decommitment:

@rivalsmike So what's your quick, "it just happened, here's where I see it going" thought?

I really don't care if he comes to Bama or not. I just want to see a nice LSU meltdown. They take that shite personally.

Alabama is the biggest threat here, IMO

would LOVE for this kid to come to Bama. It would send so many messages:
1) His talent is undeniable (though, let's see if it continues to develop over the next TWO years until he can sign) and we need all the talent we can get.
2) Further solidifies the Bama pipeline in La. and makes it easier for other kids to leave that state (like Collins & Robinson did before him)
3) causes massive LSU melt (always fun)

Is posting quotes from another board a bannable offense? There is some gold over on the LSU RB

Should Moses come to Alabama, the reaction from Landon Collins' decision will seem like a quaint campfire compared to the nuclear meltdown that would happen on LSU boards everywhere.

No. I do it all the time.
Just don't reply to any of their posts on tLSUrb.

This might explain why Luke Stampini put in his CB for MW to Bama the other day.

Who knows? That's an assumption. He probably has discussed it with his parents, but it was his mother that clarified to him what she thinks "committed" means. I'm hopeful he will be a Tiger. If not, i just hope he doesn't go to Bama.
