Rashard Lawrence is an enforcer at the heart of the defensive front, flashing an overwhelming combination of power and agility that's difficult to contain. He does a great job of keeping his eyes on the backfield, reacting to his read and bullying anyone situated between him and the ball.

He wraps up well and doesn't let rushers escape his grip, burying them into the turf without help. Though Lawrence is more advanced as a run defender right now, he appears capable of contributing to a collegiate pass rush on every down at times.

9. 2016 LB Lyndell Wilson

High School: Carver (Montgomery, Alabama)

Size: 6'2", 220 lbs

Recruitment Status: Uncommitted; contenders include Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and LSU.

Lyndell "Mack" Wilson travels to Oregon as the top-rated linebacker in his class. He has the making of an All-SEC defender, and this recruitment may ultimately shape up as another Auburn-Alabama showdown.

Wilson contributes throughout the front seven, as he's adept at identifying rushing plays and pulling the trigger as a pass-rusher with tenacity. He totaled 155 tackles, 16 sacks and five interceptions during the past two seasons.

4. 2016 OT Greg Little

High School: Allen High School

Size: 6'5 ½", 305 lbs

Recruitment Status: Committed to Texas A&M

Greg Little entered high school as a tight end but transitioned to tackle as his frame grew, maintaining elite athleticism for his size. He helped anchor the offensive line during state championship runs in 2013 and 2014, protecting 2014 Elite 11 finalist and Aggies freshman quarterback Kyler Murray.

High school linemen usually don't come assembled like Little, who moves laterally with ease to cut off blitzers and pounds defenders downfield to spearhead rushing efforts. Don't expect him to give up much ground in Beaverton, even against the nastiest defensive linemen in the land.

Size: 6'4", 311 lbs

Recruitment Status: Uncommitted; contenders include Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State and Rutgers.

Rashan Gary belonged on this list last summer as a rising junior, and now he lands on top. The country's most dominant interior lineman displays incredible range across the defensive front and drew rave reviews as the youngest lineman in attendance at the 2014 Opening.

"I had no idea he was a 2016 recruit," top-ranked 2015 offensive tackle Martez Ivey said after the event. "He definitely stepped up his game. That's pretty crazy. The guy deserves a lot of credit for how he handles himself."

Now heading into his senior season, Gary appears primed to feast on opponents. He recorded 55 tackles, 24 quarterback hurries and 14 sacks, including a six-sack performance against Tennessee-bound quarterback Jarrett Guarantano and Bergen Catholic High School.

"Last year gave me a lot of confidence because I knew I could compete against the top linemen in the country who were a year older than me," Gary told Bleacher Report. "Now I'm looking to go back with that confidence and bring that defensive line MVP back home to Jersey."

**Texas A&M OT commit Gregory Little Vs. Uncommitted DE Brian Burns

As things stand today, Little is the best the 2016 class has to offer at offensive tackle. While there's not an industry consensus on this, we feel like Burns may emerge as the best edge rusher this class has to offer. Both prospects can prove those titles with one-on-one wins against the other.

Terrance Davis put together one of the best offensive guard performances that we saw all year at The Opening D.C. Regional. Gary is without question the most athletically gifted defensive tackle in this class and the No. 1 player in the country. Something has to give.

**Uncommitted LB Lyndell Wilson vs. Clemson RB commit Tavien Feaster

If you're going to defend a 200-pound running back out of the backfield with 4.3 speed, you'd better be unique. Feaster is that running back and Wilson is that unique linebacker that just may be able to keep up on all fronts. Watching these two battle in pass rush drills and 1on1 pass game drills should be fun.

**Uncommitted LB Devin White vs. Uncommitted RB Elijah Holyfield

White may not even play linebacker so we may not see this matchup take place. Even if it does take place it will be more of a tease than anything else because the real fireworks would come out when these guys are padded up. Even still, this is muscle on muscle, mass on mass at the skill position as both of these dudes are guys you want on your side in a street fight.

Trevon Diggs has pushed back his decision and wants to check out LSU before he does.

Four-star wide receiver Trevon Diggs announced Thursday he won't announce his commitment Saturday as originally planned.

Diggs intended to make his decision public while at an Independence Day barbecue with his family. He still needs more time though, and that could be good news for LSU.

Maryland was believed to be the heavy favorite to land Diggs had he maintained his July 4 commit date. Alabama was the other team contending for his commitment, and LSU to this point has been on the outside looking in.

But new LSU receivers coach Tony Ball has made a strong push for Diggs since joining the staff. He's done well to at least pique Diggs' interest in the Tigers. He said in the spring that Baton Rouge was a destination he hoped to reach before making his final decision.

That visit hasn't materialized to this point, but now that Diggs has delayed his decision, it could happen before the end of the summer. LSU will push to have him come down for the Elite Camp later this month.

LSU will have to get that visit before it can be considered a legitimate contender for Diggs. Even if the Tigers to host him at some point, they still have a lot of ground to make up on both Maryland and Alabama.

Wide receiver isn't the biggest need in 2016, but LSU does have room for one more and would ideally like an inside guy. Diggs would fit that mold perfectly. LSU would love to add him with the two tall commits they already have in Stephen Sullivan and Dee Anderson.

There's a long way to go, but with Diggs' decision to delay things, that could be the opening LSU needs to make a push for this four-star prospect.
