7. David Marshall, 3-star defensive end

Marshall committed to Auburn March 7, but says Alabama is his “dream school.” Just 18 days after his commitment, he told AL.com he feels the Crimson Tide staff is attempting to flip him. He seems to be torn between the two programs, but is planning to attend Auburn’s A-Day Game.

6. Antwuan Jackson, 4-star defensive end

The nation’s No. 50 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite has raised his stock this spring with an invitation to The Opening and is becoming a highly-coveted prospect. He considers Alabama and Auburn “top schools” but has yet to narrow things down. Jackson is also high on the boards at Clemson, Georgia and South Carolina. His brother plays for the Gamecocks.

5. Jawon Pass, 4-star quarterback

The nation's No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the 247Sports Composite is also heading to The Opening this summer. He named Alabama and North Carolina his co-leaders in February, but now says the Crimson Tide and Tar Heels are "equal" with Auburn, Louisville and Virginia Tech in his top five. The Columbus, Ga., native has been impressed with Alabama's work with Blake Sims and Auburn's work with Cam Newton and Nick Marshall.

4. Derrick Brown, 5-star defensive tackle

Georgia is currently the team to beat for the nation's No. 5 overall prospect who tallied 17.5 sacks as a junior in Lanier, Ga. Alabama and Auburn, however, are in closing in. He named Georgia his leader in February, followed by Auburn at No. 2 and Alabama at No. 3. Brown plans to visit both campuses soon and hopes to make it to the Plains for the A-Day Game. He's also interested in Tennessee, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and LSU.

3. Ben Davis, 5-star linebacker

The Gordo star Davis is an Alabama legacy -- his father Wayne is the Crimson Tide's all-time leader in tackles. He says his father's roots won't impact his decision. Davis is comfortable with both coaching staffs and says he will make his decision on National Signing Day. Rounding out his top 7 are Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and USC.

2. Marlon Davidson, 5-star defensive end

Davidon's older brother Kenneth Carter was a walk-on at Auburn. He is the former Carver-Montgomery teammate of Lyndell Wilson before he transferred to Greenville to take care of his grandmother. Davidson maintains a "wide open" attitutde toward his recruitment.

1. Lyndell Wilson, 5-star linebacker

Wilson is the top dog Alabama and Auburn are pining over, mainly because he does not have family ties to the schools as Davis and Davidson do. He hasn't indicated which way he is leaning, and has former teammates playing for the Tide and Tigers. He's also a frequent visitor to both Tuscaloosa and Auburn. Wilson plans to announce his decision on National Signing Day and is the nation's No. 9 overall prospect.

It appears this article is a couple months old but IDGAF.

I'm not going to Alabama to watch us win national championships, I'm going to Alabama to help us win them.

I imagine in my head Golson leaving a ton of unreturned voicemails.

Kirby was also in Americus Ga today where he meet with Tyler Clark. Right now its a UGA/Auburn race with UGA having a pretty good lead. He's saying Bama has just recently picked up with the contact with him although he's been to the summer camp several years now and had been receiving letters.

It appears Everett Golson favors Georgia and South Carolina.

Thank God.
