Anyone know what Lucky is saying with the DB news?

Per his source:
1. Eddie Jackson is staying at safety.
2. Ronnie Harrison has fantastic ball skills but is not currently a "thumper" and lacks some physicality.
3. Marlon is elite.

we need ball skills in the secondary more than thumping at this point. front seven will take care of the run for the most part

Keep your eye on Marlon Davidson's recruitment. I suddenly feel a LOT better about our chances than I did a week ago. I'd gone from about 60% before he switched to Greenville and the Barn hiring his brother to 35% after the HS switch and his brother hired. Now I'm at close to 50% again after hearing some stuff.

Dont really get the pessimism
Last year we filled up our class early. The fans complained that there was little excitement around NSD. This year we are gradually getting recruits. Fans complain because we don't have much to get excited about right now.
Bottom line is that fans complain over everything

In this case, I was asked not to. Yeah, I know how that sounds. But, it appears to me like CNS is working every behind the scenes angle here. He'd be a great fit and could get early PT.

It's cool, kinda excited we could have a chance with him.

Thats what ive seen and heard this spring. I wouldnt be at all surprised to see him have a better year than Tony Brown.

Danny Kanell was hinting at message board rumors of him transferring on SportsCenter. I think he stays, but when will we **OFFICIALLY** be able to say no chance?
May 28th is the last date to add/drop classes for Summer 1/Summer full session. July 6th is the last day to add courses for Summer 2.
Cary Clark is still hinting that he is coming, but that is a big TIFWIW.

We are ranked eighth in tSEC for Scout's QB rankings.

8) Alabama
Projected Starter: Jacob Coker
QB Depth Chart: Corker, David Cornwell, Blake Barnett, Alec Morris, Cooper Bateman
It’s no slam-dunk that Corker wins the starting job but it certainly looks like it’s his to lose. This Florida State transfer did play see playing time last season, completing 38/59 passes for 403 yards and four scores. He also had a chance to get acclimated to life as a member of the Crimson Tide and offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin. Now it’s his turn. Corker just needs to become more consistent or else Nick Saban and Kiffin could turn to one of many talented but younger signal caller, most notably David Cornwell or true freshman Blake Barnett.

I confess I didn't read it. I just copied and pasted it while I was on that page. Good stuff. I think Corker is our answer to our QB dilemma. I hear he is a much better QB than Coker.

Derrick Brown is the No. 4 prospect in the country on Scout and he has been great with the media. He again was out-spoken and he wanted to set the record straight about rumors that have swirling around about his recruitment. Get the latest here...
Derrick Brown, the top prospect in the state of Georgia has named UGA his leader for months now, going back to 2014, so is he still comfortable saying that?
What has been said about his recruitment that he disputes?
The five-star defensive tackle out of Buford (Ga.) Lanier gives you those answers in this interview with Scout. You also find out who he plans to visit this summer, what he looks for on his visits, and more in this interview with Scout.

The sound on this is awful, as is the editing, but it is interesting that UGA is no longer the leader for Brown.
Do work, Kirby.
