I guess no one has a Scout account to summarize.

I spoke to someone who spent time with several of the official visitors this weekend. Of those visiting this weekend, the only not committed to Alabama was longtime Georgia wide receiver commit Terry Godwin of Hogansville-Callaway, GA.
Other official visitors included wide receiver Calvin Ridley of Coconut Creek-Monarch, FL, tight end Hale Hentges of Jefferson City-Helias, MO, offensive linemen Lester Cotton of Tuscaloosa-Central and Richie Petitbon of Washington DC-Gonzaga, linebacker/defensive end Mekhi Brown of Columbus-Carver, GA, linebacker Keaton Anderson of Florence, AL and cornerback Kendall Sheffield of Missouri City-Marshall, TX.

Here's a few notes...

Speculation following the visits was that Godwin is giving serious consideration to flipping his commitment to Alabama. TI spoke with a source this afternoon who confirmed that Godwin had a "great" visit to UA. He spent a lot of time with Tide linebacker Reuben Foster and talking with early enrollee quarterback Blake Barnett during the visit.

Godwin was joined on the trip by his parents and his little sister. The source told TI that Godwin's mother "loved" the visit and is very high on Alabama.

At the end of the visit, Godwin and his family spent time with Coach Saban. Coach Saban reiterated Alabama's strong interest in Godwin and assured him that he had a scholarship waiting on him. If Godwin's interest is serious enough, Saban will schedule an in-home visit this coming week.

The conclusion is that our source thinks -- as of today -- that Godwin will most likely stick with his commitment to Georgia.

Another storyline has been whether or not tight end Hale Hentges would stick with his longtime UA commitment. Hentges has family ties to the University of Missouri and this past week UM hired Hentges' high school coach to join their staff. Source says that Hentges had a great visit and there's no threat that he might change.

Star WR commit Calvin Ridley was in town with his mother and younger brother, Cavin Ridley, who is a 2016 WR prospect. Cavin went through the entire visit experience this weekend with his older brother. Word is that Ridley's mother was "having a ball" the whole weekend. In fact, word is all visitors and their parents were having a big time. Heard that Kendall Sheffield's parents threw out 'Roll Tide' several times during the visit.
An unofficial visitor in town this weekend was Dadeville defensive lineman Anfernee Jennings. Last weekend Jennings was in Tuscaloosa on an official visit. Word is that Auburn has really turned up the heat of the 6-3, 260-pound Jennings hoping to flip him. Auburn recently extended a scholarship offer to Jennings' younger brother, Shawn Jennings, a 2016 safety.

We've mentioned several times over the past month to keep an eye on Tide defensive back Rico McGraw of Nashville-Ensworth. The feeling is there's a good chance that McGraw might flip to Georgia soon.

On another note, Tide cornerback commit Montrell Custis of Hampton-Lovejoy, GA made an official visit to Ole Miss this past weekend. Custis told the OM staff that he does not plan on signing with Alabama. Custis mentioned Auburn and Florida as other schools of interest to him.

Can someone describe Jonathan Taylor's football skills to me? Haven't watched film on him. Is he more of a Terrance Cody type, or a Jarran Reed type?

He's a true NG, just a little more athletic than Cody. Maybe a little Haloti Ngata-esque. He gets a great punch off initial snap and just wreaks havoc. More like a mix of Jarran Reed, Dareus, and Josh Chapman

He's gonna be a good one

Reubs may never live up to his potential as an ILB, but damn he has been more than worth it for his recruiting alone, not to mention his special teams play.

Foster and Barnett are two of the best recruiters on campus. But I'm sure there are some sorostitutes that did a great job recruiting this weekend too.

Rusty, UGA247 mod, says that he is dropping some "dawg treats" in the morning and they won't be sugarcoated. Sounds like some bad recruiting news is headed UGA's way. The question, though, is is the bad news about Slayton (visited Auburn this past weekend) or is it about Godwin (what I'm hoping)?

Didn't Rico visit UGA this weekend. Maybe they are to let them know he is not flipping.

Seems like, contrary to Godwins visit at Bama, that visit has been very quiet

Our chances with Godwin are worse than my chances with Olivia Munn.

Rather it be bad news about Rico

Agreed on Rico I'd like to keep him, seems like a cog type player who could be used in a few different ways

I have a feeling a Hand situation will happen again this year. And I don't mean my hand. That situation will definitely happen.

I'm hoping. I'm trying to remember the last "boring" NSD we had under CNS.

I've always thought "dropping nuggets" was weird as shite. (literally)

Not sure what else to call them though.
