Some dude on TSWSNBN is saying Ridley and SBB will not be at the game tomorrow.
Nothing about it on BOL yet.

Bone posted it.
Power said something about Ridley not visiting anywhere this weekend too.

Looks like we'll be facing uga should we get past auburn.I was hoping for Mizzou.

quote:how do the rules work out here? if missouri loses to arkansas, they would still only have the 1 divisional loss, compared to 2 for georgia. the sec record is the same, but i thought it went divisional record, then head to head if tied in division.

So if we win tomorrow we will play Missouri in the SEC Championship Game.

Wouldn't sleep on this Missouri team. They have a great pass rush and we haven't run the ball well against a decent defense all year. If and its a big if, we beat Auburn, Missouri will give us all we want and then some.

I watched the first half of today's game. Missouri will not be able to move the ball against our defense. Their defense may give us fits but they'll eventually give in.

If ark could have thrown the ball at all, they would have handed Mizos there arse today. I think yeldon and cooper would tear them alive! But first thing first, AUBURN FIRST!

I've said this forever. Double the pay of their dline coach and let us field the best defense ever.

I'm not one to think we will win just by taking the field but you gotta like our chances against Missouri over Georgia.
Georgia kicked the shite out of them in Columbia.

I think our dline is pretty damn good in their own right this year tho. If Bo Davis wants to seek greener pastures one day I'd hope we go after Mizzou's dline coach.

We have a worse dline with 5 stars than they have with 3 stars. Given its a different system.

We're currently sitting at #5 in total defense with a secondary that's arse most of the time while Mizzou is at #23 in total defense. I'd say the dline is doing its job.
Our rushing defense is #2 in the country, Mizzou's is sitting at #23. The one area they beat us in is sacks. They have 40, we have 26. But a lot of that is scheme with gap integrity as opposed to shooting gaps and potentially giving up big plays, although we have done some of that this year.
I think Bo Davis has really changed our Dline. This isn't the D-line from the past few years.

I'd be more interested in what their head coach can do with Alabama's players. Mizzou isn't pulling in the number one class every year. They always have feared pass rushers

Their DL is legit but so is our DL. I would say we have faced better defenses all season than Mizzou has in the east. Our OL has only given up 10 sacks and 49 tackles for a loss. Their OL has given up 20 sacks and 70 tackles for a loss given up close to 300 yards. And that's against teams like Kentucky, Vandy, aTm, UT, USC and Indiana.
Their QB is prone to throw more INTs than Sims. The only concern I really have facing Mizzou is they have forced 18 fumbles this season and at the most needed time for them to go and win. Other then that not concerned. They have no real deep threat and Sims plays his best ball when out of the pocket on the run.

Sims has made plays out of the pocket when he's been able to set his feet and throw. He still struggles when throwing on the run though.

I like how my Saban thread on the newly opened Coaching Changes board is already whacked. Yet every rumor under the sun about Saban will remain while that board is open.

UGA can pound the ball though. And did. We can't.

I'm saying I would rather play Missouri over Georgia.

Not concerned because what I saw from Mizzou is they can not defend the pass well especially short throws which our WRs and hopefully Howard after I saw Henry hurt them will do against Mizzou.
The stat I find the most telling is when they play teams that have 200+ yards in passing. They lost Indiana, beat a bad USC team by 1, beat aTm by 7 and beat UT by 8. With the exception of UGA teams that tried to run the ball did bad because it allowed their D to slow the game down. Their offense is not built to come from behind. Against UGA and IU Mauk threw 5 Ints. Our offense is avg. 280 yards a game passing. They have not played an offense as dangerous as ours yet.
