He's buying the early playing time angle from UGA big time. Sure, there is early playing time at safety available at Alabama, but you have to prove that you are better than the rest. At UGA, not so much.
Then again, there is a reason that UGA is the team of "almosts" and falls apart when the pressure is on. Kids aren't used to competing for shite.

I agree, but he's going to be a good one. It would be a disappointment, for sure.
Things trending downward with him and Cowart. Things looking okay with Harris, but he will be a tough pull. Recruiting has been boring AF lately. All of our pets' heads are falling off.

I know we have had a lot of CJ Mosley comparisons in recruits but Adonis Thomas reminds me of Mosley with his pursuit and tackling. He runs a little more stiff but hits with a little more pop imo. CJ was a for sure tackler. Thomas likes to drop the shoulder

I am wondering is our staff not as aggressive with him or are we seeing maybe his interest slip in UA. It just seems we are making a hard push for DJ Jones currently. Jones is having a decent year with 28 tackles and 4 sacks from the DT position. Jones is visiting FSU this weekend so I guess his post visit interview may reveal more if he is still looking at other programs.
