Someone posted on BOL screenshots of Jonathan Broussard's twitter. Apparently he cannot get a hold of the Bama coaches, particularly Kirby Smart.

Interesting that it appears we may be slow playing one of the better corners (in-state nonetheless) for the 2016 class.

BOL is gonna release Recruiting Nuggets today.

Nuggets were pretty much everything is status quo, which is a good thing when you have so many commits.

QB Blake Barnett (California) and WR Calvin Ridley (Florida)

Southern California quarterback Blake Barnett and Sunshine State playmaker Calvin Ridley starred during seven-on-seven competition at The Opening. In fact, it's fair to say these Alabama pledges stole the show.

Barnett, a 6'4.5", 200-pound passer from Santiago High School, earned Elite 11 MVP honors. Ridley, America's top-ranked receiver, was named the overall MVP at the star-studded event.

They teamed up to claim the tournament title, hooking up for several touchdown passes along the way. It quickly became apparent this duo could thrive together in Tuscaloosa if their commitments remain intact.

"We really found a rhythm together," Barnett said after wrapping up the championship effort. "He's such a talented receiver, and it's big that we have a chance to build some chemistry before we both arrive at Alabama."

"Get used to 'Barnett to Ridley,' because it will be a dominating theme in the SEC for years to come," Bleacher Report's Barrett Sallee wrote this summer.
