I actually feel kinda bad for the people who have stuck up for Eric in the past. He certainly didn't deserve their support.

Why I never stuck up for him but because he tried to become friends with recruits and share info you seemed to have an issue with it. No different than the same info coming from the pay sites and getting the same way. I am a recruit would I rather share some info with a kid being nice or someone Bone who will harass the crap out of you and if he does not get the answer he wants will spin to get subs.

So you believe a college football staff has hired/is in the process of hiring a 16 year old with zero football experience to it's recruiting department?

Are you fricking serious or just wanting to argue? I assume the latter because no one in their right mind would believe that shite.

Well a recruit sharing info with Bone knows that that info will be put in articles for public consumption. That same recruit may not appreciate sharing info with a "friend" who then goes and posts it on message boards.

I thought he said he was being hired on a college recruiting site staff like 247, but no I would not believe a college program. Either way I could care less but his info he posted was no different than the pay sites.

Bone and many others harass a recruit to give bits of information. They then fill in the blanks with their professional assumption which will vary on what they think will get the most subs.

Sharing info because you want to share versus just trying to get rid of a recruiting paparazzi.

Hence why sites this exist because recruiting junkies come together looking to sift through all the BS printed and trying to find and share the few pieces of info worth anything. The ones that believe everything written are the ones that only hang out on the pay sites. Afraid to find out what they may be paying for is not reality.

Do you really think that 247/Rivals/Scout/Whatever the frick site is going to hire a sixteen year old? Really? I don't. For one, the recruiting site would be liable for anything happening to him whether on site getting interviews or during travel time. For another, child labor laws are a bitch.

Could he volunteer for one of the sites? I'm more inclined to believe that, but I'm not sure what that would look like.

These sites are on par with runners from Memphis. They will do whatever they can to get info before their competitor and yes I believe they would pay the 7 year old nephew of a 5 star recruit to get info even if was in purple crayon.

Do I believe a 16 or 17 would get hired into a regular position no but he got called out and tried to defend his position. At most yea maybe volunteer at his age to provide info for like a free membership or something but who at 16 did not over state a fact to make themselves look greater.

Harass? How so? Do you have personal experience with this? And if Eric is shopping his "friendships" to get a job with a recruiting site, surely, you can't still claim he's any better than the recruiting sites

FIFY.

I made up plenty of shite when I was 16. Guilty as charged. But they were more along the lines of telling a girl anything she wanted to hear to give me the time of day than to impress a bunch of people on the Internet.

Maybe I'm over the hill and that's what teenagers are more in to these days.

How on earth did this kid get a job in the first place with a recruiting site? He's smart if he managed that, i'll give him that.

I think Barnett and Fitzpatrick are good friends. Fitzpatrick changed his twitter name and pic to Blake Barnett and a picture of him lol.
