Someone on BOL is tossing around ACT card, rather than a CC, which makes sense to me because they probably thought they could away with that easier. But, yeah, that sounds about right.

The good news for Eddie, at least, is that the first charge was so close in time to this one that he didn't violate probation, unlike Calloway.

Yep, Cecil just tweeted that Eddie got arrested on Sunday for the pistol charge and then again Monday for the other charges.
I'm thinking Eddie and Brent are gone (wasn't expecting much from either of them).

Jarrick Williams was looking like a stud before he got injured last year in fall camp? Or sometime around then. I think Nick Perry is okay if he doesn't have to play too much MC

We weren't depending on Eddie for PT, but it does hurt depth a little. Could possibly see Averett, Stewart, or Jackson at Safety in the fall to compensate.
Honestly, I'm just a little relieved. Read a very vague post on another board before I went to bed last night about 4 players being in big trouble. You can't help but fear the worst. I was worried it was 4 of our best players failing a drug test (i.e. out for the year) or in NCAA trouble that could jeopardize the whole program.

Still have Williams, Perry, Sunseri from last year. Added Jai Miller, Ardarious Stewart and Anthony Averritt?(sp)
EW was having a hard time finding a spot. I am more concerned about HB and DE myself.

fricking morons need to be kicked off the team unless a whole lot of misunderstanding has occurred. Weed, MIP, public intox, and even a fricking DUI I can accept. It's college. shite happens. It takes a world class dumbfrick to steal someone's credit card and go use it though.

If you'll check, you'll see that Williams was also arrested on a weapons charge on 2/10. That's probably how all the others got caught. I imagine EW rolled over for the cops.....and that weapons charge probaby got him a ticket home, too.

Good news all indications are that Jai Miller will be an absolute stud at S he's hit the ground running and Landon Collins should provide great competition
We could afford to lose Calloway (agree with him staying with damn AU SMFH) I think Frietag gets a good look at Hback and OJ of course as a TE and in a lot of spots out wide etc
We can afford to lose DJ Pettway (who I think was a bit overrated to begin with) the way we have recruited the DL last year and this yr
Eddie kind if hurts because depth at S but like I said Jai Miller is a big unknown

If I were to guess, I would say that the gun charge did not result from a separate event, but probably from when the police picked them up for questioning regarding the robbery. Not that it makes much difference, except in the "he just got popped for carrying an unlicensed gun, how in the hell could he be dumb enough to go and do this the next day" sense of making a difference.
