Wise decision... Welcome to the club.
Just added another sig to my collection, picking it up tomorrow. P220 legion .45 sao SRT (Short-Reset Trigger
Grayguns, Inc. P-SAIT trigger.

Also purchased genuine colt m4 11.5” heavy profile barrel last night. But this particular barrel was made for the FBI HRT unit. Very rare and very hard to come by. Not cheap!!

thanks for the links paperwasp!

Hwy, I went with CZ P-10 compact for the ambidextrous controls and I'm excited to get familiar with it. I looked up the p220 legion and man, it is a slick piece of work.

Threaded barrel? CZ proven firearm, been in business a long time. Really like the CZ 75B, lost out on one on GB.

It’s a good choice. Well balanced handgun

Not quite in the counties you listed but most people I know say Hoover Tactical sucks and prefer to drive out to the place in Talladega.

Edit: Name of the place is CMP.

I’ve passed CMP billboards while at work so I definitely am open to looking at them as well. Thanks Fells

Awesome... Get you some cheap range ammo (FMJ) CCI, Blazer, American Eagle, etc. 115,124 or even 147gr. You don’t have to go $$$$ for practice.

But as for as conceal carry ammo, you’ll just have to Trail & Error different self defense ammo to find out what that CZ likes.

It’s a great conceal carry. Really like it but I have big hands and the slide would cause me problems. Same with the G26. 43x I could manage.

HST is pretty brutal. Later on get you a thick phone book soak it a 5gal bucket of water. Get about 5yds back and fire a round into it. You’ll see the full affect of that slug and the expansion and penetration.

I really like the concealabilty under a suit coat with a paddle holster on the hip. 10 round mag is a plus too. Have been carrying a 7+1.

Where are you all going for ammo these days?

Sportsman’s warehouse, bulkammo, ammo.com, Gunbrokers. I’ve got a nice stock pile built up right now. Gun show at the Hoover met next wk, probably go look around if it doesn’t get canceled.

LTL I carry a old WG sig p228. Manufactured 1991. Purchased it in 92... I love that weapon put a many of rounds through it.

My wife carries a p228 also

While I never used them, there is training facility just outside of B'ham called Sheepdog. Again, I've never used them nor heard any reviews. It's located at the Deerfoot Pkwy exit near Trusville.

I stopped there once to look at their inventory of firearms. If you are looking for variety, this was not the place. But there was a class ongoing and it appeared to be well run.

That's one of the main reasons I got a vp9sk. My buddy swears by his CZ.
