I think everyone is just a bit shell shocked and hoping for some good news.
Has been a rough start to 2024 for bama. Hopefully good coaching prevails in the end.

Again, your logic wasn't flawed. I was hoping Saban could go another couple of years.

And I am constantly amazed at the [diverse] number of player jerseys worn at an Alabama game.

You're all good with me I understand my man. But the dumbasses on the rant particularly Ass21 has tried to use you to express how much of a jackass he truly is.

Appears there was a dispute with downs and Milroe over downs leaving? Any one confirm?

About the time that A$M was wanting to fire Jimbo with his huge buyout, one of their donors wrote them a check for $150 million. It’s hard to compete with that kind of money. Yeah, it would be nice if we had a single donor throw that kind of money into NIL but it apparently ain’t happening.

I've been away from the board for about 2 hours and 23 minutes...did I miss another portal entry?

I don't know what exactly "a dispute" is but if starters are leaving and I'm the starting QB, I'm going to have more than a few choice words for them.

What's the alternative buy him a parting gift?

It dawned on me im recent years that I loved CFB just as much when Bama sucked than I do when Bama wins every game. I wouldnt trade those 17 years for anything, but CFB is a shell of what it was

As crazy as it sounds, things had gotten a little stale. It'll be nice to see new schemes, unfamiliar players, etc. Of course, if we lose a bunch of games, it might not seem so nice. Regardless, I'll roll with the Tide, whether we're up or down.

No idea. But that doesn’t set up well for a return

I guess it wasn’t much. Reading between the lines, Downs missed a workout and appearantly Milroe called him out and told him everyone knows he is going to GA any ways.

No idea, but I hope Milroe channeled his inner Rolando during this dispute.

Please give details as this is a ncaa violation. Schools can't contribute to NIL funds.

I think he's saying.. They have dudes that can donate 150mill to pay for a coach to not work. Getting big money for NIL isn't a problem

Downs leaving has to be put into perspective. For example, today I won a property tax appeal in court that saved me $907 in taxes for each of the next three years. May not seem like much to you big bucks folks but I'm retired and can use the money.

I hope Milroe hit him upside the head with a perfect spiral

What violation? I never said that their $150M was for paying players. I said that at the same time they needed to buy out a coach, a donor threw them a check. And this wasn’t some behind the scenes, business as usual donation; a facsimile check was presented during a game.
